Hostik Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt ok und an sich ist das Hostel sehr schön. ABER es gab nur kalte duschen und morgen um 5:45 den Pool zu reinigen ist auch nicht so toll gewesen. Es wimmelt es am Pool und in den hinteren Toiletten & Duschen nur so von Moskitos. Leider ist es aus diesem Grund fast unmöglich, das Fenster im Zimmer zu öffnen und es ist unglaublich stickig. Alle Wände in meinem Einzelzimmern mit Gemeinschaftsbad sind voll mit Blutflecken von totgeschlagenen ...

Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Nice place but terribly managed and the staff are absurd. The place shouldn’t be allowed on Hostel World. They charged me 400 pesos for spilling coffee in bed without permission and after I’d explicitly said I was not paying such an absurd price for such a benign event. Never mind the fact I spilled the coffee for being really shaken that my stuff had been stolen. The fact the staff then charged this after I had left after agreeing I was not going to is be...

Really can’t rate this hostel any higher after our experience here. Travelled to Merida specifically to see Chichen Itza so booked a tour through the hostel. The hostel ‘forgot’ to book our spot on the tour so got up the next morning and waited for our tour to find out we didn’t have a spot. By this point it was too late to try and find any other tour to join. No remorse or any feasible help was made to try and rectify the issue. Hostel is riddled with bugs and showers are cold.

No hot water, no towels provided in private room, check in staff not friendly. HEAVILY overpriced for what you get, suitable for rich travellers who don’t mind paying a premium for a purpose built hostel. Payment is on a sliding scale like a hotel eg price increases depending on amount of vaccines, price from Monday -Tuesday differed by 150 pesos with no discernible reason

Awful bartender. I’m 19 this guy is middle aged. Grabbed me en wanted to kiss me. I was just able to turn my head.

Wat een verschrikkelijk hostel. De airco doen ze pas om 20:30 aan tot 09:30. De airco ging aan op 25 graden! Het was bloed heet in de kamer. De bedden vallen bijna uit elkaar. Als je je omdraait beweegt het hele bed…. Je merkt dat ze er alles aan doen om geld te besparen. Alle medewerkers lieten gewoon de deuren van de kamers open als ze binnen waren waardoor het nog warmer werd en waardoor we mega veel muggen binnen kwamen. De wc’s en douches waren de helft van de tijd niet schoon. Nooit me...

Overall it was an ok hostel. My only issues were the fact that we didn’t have access to the AC control in the room. I understand that in busy periods it is done to save energy but I visited during low season, with two people in the room and it was 40degrees outside. I believe that under these circumstances you should be able to make some exceptions. Finally, I have to also admit that during my stay there I had some very weird bites on the parts of my body that touched the mattress.

Seems like a nice place but they’re under renovation now and constructions happening in the place so you have basically construction workers drilling and hammering in the middle of the day for hours, they should tell you that in advance.. at least they allowed me to shorten my stay their

Decent hostel. Only stayed here for one night so can't comment on the social aspect but our private room was clean with AC, bathrooms were decent, communal space was good. The bar out the front has a great barman - highly recommend going for a drink!

Hat uns gut gefallen. Bissle viele Mosquitos sonst aber super :)

The facilities and atmosphere were very good - nice open spaces, planned activities, bar and pool. Unfortunately during our stay (not sure why) but the pool was a bit grotty. Bring mosquito repellent!

Solo el tema de los mosquitos que no te dejan dormir o comer. Considero que las y los voluntarios deben hablar el mínimo de español, les tuve que traducir (en México) a algunos huéspedes y viceversa.

Brilliant for your solo travelers. Bar and kitchen spaces are good. Location is perfect. However one issue throughout my stay was the mosquitos the were horrific.

I loved this hostel! Veel leuke mensen leren kennen. Ook de barman heeft ons goede plekken aangeraden om te doen. De kamers waren proper en genoeg privacy. Ook de toiletten en douches waren proper. Er waren genoeg activiteiten om andere te leren kennen. Moest ik nog eens naar Merida gaan kom ik terug naar dit hostel!

Victor was an incredible bar manager, very friendly and kind, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for places to go nearby. I loved the cenote tour with the hostel. the social activities on an evening are a great way to meet people. I met some fantastic people at this hostel and found it very friendly. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, I'd love to come back.

Stayed here for two nights and I’m pretty satisfied. The hostel has a nice environment and it promotes socializing with cool activities every night. If you are looking for a place to meet nice people then here it is :)

ABSLUTELY LOVEE THIS PLACE. Reccomend to anyone going to Merida! PS: the breakfast offered by the hostel is not awesome but there are plety of good restaurants and coffee shops around.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Clean, airy, pretty, comfortable, pretty, and very safe. The only downside is surely the breakfast but that's okay, you can get great food literally down the street (which is called Mérida's gastronomic corridor). If you ever go to Mérida, you should definitely stay here.

Amazing hostel! The only downside is the location but still easy to get to town centre. staff are kind and helpful, especially trying to get people to interact during events!
