+ Horrible experiencia pasaron mis amigos con el administrador del hostel, Persona mal educada y prepotente. Amenazas sin sentido y muchas calumnias sin absolutamente sin prueba por que mis amigos usaros el espacio común para compartir un vino y lamentablemente como pasa en cualquier situación se quebró una copa y esta persona los echa del lugar no queriendo devolver ni el dinero, mi amigos por tal percance decidieron salir a altas horas de la noche del hostel dejando comida y teniendo que buscar otro lugar y gastar dinero extra por el horario. esta persona me llena de mensajes am y me amenaza.
- el administrador tiene un grande problema de actitud falsa y de agresividad y burlesca.
the bathroom was so dirty, all of them, they loose my sweater at the laundry and a hiking sock, the kitchen was dirty with a smell of cat's pee, the sheets in the beds was really dirty with lots of stains, it was really loud during the nights, the hostel needs renovations for all of the equipments and they ran out of gas in the kitchen for one hour after we said there was no gas

- La poca amabilidad de parte del anfitrión, (Luis). En dos oportunidades le pedí ayuda, me la negó, diciéndome que no estaba en horario de trabajo. La instalación de muchas camas en una habitación, se hacia irrespirable en la noche. (monóxido de carbono). falta ventilación. Lo sofás en malas condiciones, viejos y deteriorados, falta Re tapizar los sofá. desinflados el relleno, ásperos, el espacio en común, mucho polvo, faltaba sacudir, levantar el polvo de los rincones. Los baños, las duchas deterioradas. receptáculo de ducha en malas condiciones.

Very bad vibe there , a local rude racist girl also stay here talked loudly but not allow me to use phone to see views she said sounds too loudly and let me go back to my town I told her I live in Tokyo it’s not a town much bigger than her hometown , 3. I didn’t feel i were welcome from a staff’s face , another staff doesn’t speak English . 4. Sketchy city!! Be careful with your bag or wallet !!
worst breakfast ive seen(you need to make the eggs!!), Some of the are staff very rude but others are better, showers dirty. the good side is its in a nice location.
A dirty hostel with an unacceptable lack of safety. Whilst on a night out, two friends and I were held at gunpoint and had our bags stolen. We ran back to the hostel but found the front door locked. Someone eventually answered after 10 mins, then offered no assistance or comfort, despite our visibly shaken state. The hostel advertises 24-hour reception, so waiting outside for so long in such a distressing situation is unacceptable, especially as Valparaiso is known for being sketchy at night.

- Dirty and grubby, bins in kitchen and bathrooms over flowing Smoking area is inside by the kitchen so the kitchen and upstairs toilet smell like an ash tray Uncomfortable and lumpy beds and pillows One staff member constantly walked around blasting crap loud music from his phone disturbing people who are trying to read/work in the common area Checked out a day early and also left covered in bites so possible bed bugs
- El baño privado de la habitación 7 estaba muy hediondo a humedad, jamás se pasó… además la ropa de cama con sus elásticos vencidos, tuve que despertarme en 5 oportunidades a volver a colocar las sábanas en su lugar. Y 0 onda la hostal bastante aburrida

The people make this place special, but the facilities are great too. Clean bathrooms, multiple kitchens, and a patio where people socialize. I came back to this hostel because the staff are great people and make you feel at home :)
Staff was very nice, breakfast is worth it. Bathrooms could be cleaner and the storage in the rooms could be better since a normal backpack doesn’t fit. Overall really nice stay!!

La estructura en general muy buena y la ubicación también, pero fue sobretodo la gente que trabaja aquí que vuelven el hostal Casa Volante un sitio inolvidable, José el mejor manager de un hostal que encontré hasta ahora, sabe crear un clima social muy inclusivo y de buena onda, y también fue una suerte encontrar todo el grupo de personas voluntarias, un equipo maravilloso que hacen sentir no sólo un ambiente acogedor, sino también una familia muy abierta:) Gracias
This Hostal is located on the heart of Valparaiso, the staff are really nice and it has a good vibe and lots of common areas you can hang around and meet people. They also have a pasta and wine night you can join. It has a common kitchen and breakfast for an extra fee. Perfect for a few nights in Valparaiso.
Hostel très bien placé. Le staff est super sympa ! Les espaces communs sont bien aménagés et la déco est très cool. Les dortoirs sont ok, mais douches et salles de bains pourraient être mieux niveau propreté.
Really friendly staff. Check in was good. However - there are lots of rules including heavy fines (I didn’t break any, it just seems unwelcoming!). For a hostel with quiet hours, it was not very quiet. Room is old with mould on the walls. Bathrooms are also small and run down. Doors all close very loudly and the lock on ours didn’t work properly. Location is perfect for visiting Valparaiso.

Great stay in Valparaiso in a sprawling hostel, You better love stairs because they are every where here and in Valparaiso,Lots of spaces to chill and large kitchen, I wish they weren't as seperated
+ Viaggiavo da sola, ma fossimo stati in due la camera sarebbe stata comunque perfetta perché spaziossima. Il bagno era esterno dotato di chiave quindi ho potuto li lasciare ascougamani e beautycase. Ho apprezzato moltissimo i mirales a parete che davano un tocco frizzante. Super il tavolino con le sedie, e l'originale appendiabiti al posto di un srmadio che avrebbe sacrificato lo spazio attorno al letto.
- Avrei tanto apprezzatocun bagno solo un po' piú spazioso e areato. Se dovessi tornare proveró il bagno in condivisione, tanto per fare un'esperienza diversa.
El chavito que pusieron a atender no me gustó para nada su trato, para todo lo que se le preguntaba era un no anticipado con jeta, se sentía la mala onda y andaba como queriendo aparentar autoridad con sus compañeras voluntarias (andaba de lucidito diríamos en México), de esos lugares donde se nota y mucho la preferencia hacia el turista europeo - estadounidense, con ellos súper simpáticos y sonrisita queriendo hacer plática y con uno muy frío y seco el trato, en instalaciones apenas bi...

+ La parte de arriba donde estaba la cocina y sala de estar.
- Que cerraran la cocina muy temprano.
Das Gebäude ist sehr alt, vor allem die Bäder und Zimmer könnten mal renoviert, oder gereinigt werden. Trotz dessen hat das Hostel seinen charme und ist einen Besuch wert.
