+ Nice location, close up everything, good beds
- A rat came at night to check out the garbage. I had to sleep with lights on. Pretty much sleepless night.

The room was very dirty, with splashes of liquid on the walls and mold on the ceiling. Water pressure was good but definitely not hot. Location is good.
Comfortable bed. Very central location by the lake. Kind hosts.
Even though the staff were chill, the bed was clean , the price was good, the location is close to the bus station. There is big web of spider on the roof of the toilet and spider sitting there and what's worse was that at night there was non stop noise on trash bin , turned out there was rats in my room runing around the place (at least 2) Couldn't wait to wake up and leave , never been in hostel with rats and big spider webs before, seems like they cba cleaning that room.

Excellent location if travelling by bus as it is opposite the bus terminal. Walking distance to the lake, market, shops, eating places. It is a place to sleep and wash, not for meeting or making friends. If you caanot bear your own company you'd be better off somewhere else. I think the woman who runs the noodle stall could be the "owner". That is also the entrance to the hostel. No towels or toilet paper so be prepared.
Simple, and great hostel in the middle of the town. Comfy beds and easy to access anything. The noodle soup place in front of it is the best!
Great easy, clean, stay. I was here for just a night. You have your basic needs met and the ladies running the hostel are so nice. Location is perfect, 1 min walk to the bus station and right on a Main Street with tons of restaurants. If you’re looking for a great deal and an affordable place to stay for a night or two, this is the spot!
MeHug Guesthouse had an absolutely super location close the bus station, and in the middle of the town, offering great convenience to explore Phayao. However, it is definitely past its heyday, with general cleanliness low with stains and sheets and pillows and shared bathroom areas not cleaned. It has lots of potential, things just need to be cleaned up a little. Thanks for the stay nonetheless!
Very private beds, it was so nice!!! And I love how the beds were built so sturdy. The ladders/stairs up to the top bunk were the best I've ever seen. And there's no shaking when the person above you rolls over when they're sleeping. So you're able to have a better and deeper sleep. It's small, but great value. I love Phayao!!!
