Great Staff, Great Vibe (very quiet), cool places to chill in the garden, cool old house. Shower could use some love

I stayed here during my trip on the garden route. It was off season, so the hostel didn't have many guests. It was a cute setup and I could see it being a great place for meeting people during the busy season. It had a large kitchen to cook in and many places to eat, relax, lounge. The walls were quite thin (there was someone snoring on the other side I could hear all night), and the bunks didn't have curtains. Additionally my mattress sunk in drastically and my back was killing me in the morn...

Hosts are very kind and helpful. Go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Beds are comfy and shower has nice, hot water pressure. Does not seem like a backpackers vibe (I went off season so maybe it is different peak season), mostly old guests. Feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel.

It was please for me to spend time in this hostel and had a good time with Marilyn.

We had a wonderful stay at the Zoete Inval Hostel. It is very green and offers lots of possibilities to relax. The ladys at the reception are very nice and help you with every problem.

Great location as well as incredibly helpful staff. All the ladies made our stay incredible and helped us with any inquiries. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful people and beautiful accommodation

Very friendly staff, willing to accommodate where possible. Good location.

The staff was very kind, nice and welcoming.The building and garden were also very nice on the outside, it had a very nice atmosphere. We slept in a dorm for 8 persons. The mattresses were very soft and bedding not very comfortable. There was no real storage places available and they were full of laundry and spare bedding. There was however a breakfast for a small fee of 50 rand, which was nice. The toilets and other facilities were fine. For the car there is a protected parking area.
