Chill Inn Lipa Noi Hostel and Beach Cafe

+ Not really anything

- Rude staff, also completely disorganised, pre-booked a taxi from the pier with them and the driver didn’t show up and the staff were really unhelpful, charges 350 for a 5 minute drive (pay the hostel). The room was utterly overpriced, I actually couldn’t believe it - when I arrived there were dirty plates and cutlery in the sick and old food and drink left in the fridge, a few of the windows didn’t close at all and the mesh panels also don’t close so there were so many bugs the whole time I stayed. The bed was hard as a rock I actually slept on the couch the second night, got very little sleep anyway with the noise of the appliances in the house and the curtains don’t close fully so all rooms are very bright at 6am. Fairly misleading location on maps, the restaurant in on the beach put the accommodation in on the road behind. The restaurant staff took 30 minutes to even give me a menu and even longer to order, food not great. Absolutely would not recommend staying here, overcharged for just about everything that they could get away with.

- Sits in the middle of F nowhere! Hostel had a staffparty next doors with the loudest possible music, like no kindsing they were having a concerts, and they denied me any kind of refund even though they were playing music untill atleast 02!

- Ça ne ressemble pas du tout à ce qu’on peut voir sur les photos. Pas du tout confortable. Pas propre non plus. La pire auberge que j’ai pu avoir jusqu’à maintenant. La réception ouvre à 7h du matin donc faut leurs demander pour check out avant… en les ayant prévenu et en ayant insisté que je devais vraiment partir à 6:30 pour prendre une ferry, à ma grande surprise personne n’était là. J’ai essayé de trouver quelqu’un mais personne n’était là. J’ai donc laissé ma clé devant la réception et je n’ai pas pu récupérer ma caution en cash que j’avais laissé

+ Pas grand chose Belle plage pas privé comme indiqué sir le site Booking heureusement d ailleurs. Instalation simpke mais beau du Restaurant café mais beaucoup trop cher.

- Propreté Loin de tout impossible sans moyen de transport.

+ Beau restaurant-café qui donne sur la plage NON PRIVE comme indiqué sur la page booking. Carte restaurant et café très cher, voir établissement tout le long de la route, très proche à des prix nettement inférieur Belle plage, de dimension agréable. Climatisation chambre parfait. Une seule douche qui fonctionne au lieu de deux pour environ 12 personnes minimum. Publicité pour l ouverture d un autre établissement sur Bangkok, Chill inn ...... comme toute cette chaîne, un peu de ce budjet pour une rénovation de celui ci ne serait pas du luxe Serviette disponible

- Propreté très limite voir photos Pas de lumière individuelle, mes prises proche de mon lit de fonctionne pas. Rideaux peu et pas adapté. Si on consomme pas au café le responsable de cet activité tire la tête. Casiers trop petit, pas adapté aux bagages. Pas de shampoing et gel douche disponible comme partout depuis que je voyage en thaillande pour un tarif identique ou inférieur. Aucune indication sur la page booking que le règlement par carte bancaire il faut ajouter 3%, idem pour un dépôt de garantie de 200 baths. Tout doit être inscrit sur la page booking.

+ Sehr ruhig

- Nur 2 Toiletten bei 40 Personen

+ The staffs are nice

+ The location is a bit isolated and not very touristy and crowded , perfect if you are looking for some peace and quiet.Dorms are 1 minute walk from the beach. The bed was comfortable.

- Electricity sockets not near each bed. Not many for the amount of people in the room. Only 2 bathrooms for 15+ people if place is fully booked .it didn’t bother me that much , you have to choose ur timing to go shower right .

+ Sehr sauber, ruhig, direkt am Strand, naturnah, günstige Restaurants in der Nähe, Moskitonetze vor den Fenstern

- Die Klimaanlage wurde teilweise auf 20 Grad gestellt in der Nacht in den Dorms, da das Hostel keine einheitliche Regelung von 25 Grad hatte wie ich es aus anderen Hostels kenne, das war mir viel zu kalt

+ Great location near beach, clean dormitories and comfortable beds, good value for money

- Payment process was very frustrating, I specifically chose this hostel as booking.com said payment in advance which I wanted. It took my card details and said payment made, but when we reached the hostel we were told that the payment actually hadn't been taken, and I had to pay then. And then was told I had to pay a 3% charge in order to pay by card! Unacceptable and I had to ask to speak to manager to get the charge waived. Not sure if the issue is with booking.com or the hostel, but it made the whole experience very stressful as we were low on cash at end of holiday and wanted to pre-book by card, as we did at many other places during our Thailand trip.

+ Preis / Leistung super. Sehr großer Bungalow in einer noch nicht so touristischen Ecke Samuis (falls das möglich ist). Am Strand diverse Liegen und Liegestühle gratis. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Die große Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Mehrere Restaurants 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

+ Un très bel emplacement, près d’une mignonne petite plage et desservi par une route peu passante. Environnement calme avec toutes les commodités. L’appartement était très grand, très bien équipé et très propre. Le lit confortable, la salle de bain grande et pratique. Le personnel à l’écoute et efficace. Bref beau rapport qualité prix.

- Peut-être mettre des patères pour accrocher les vêtements…

+ Muy buena ubicación a 100 metros de la playa con sector propio, donde se puede usar reposeras, sillas etc. Buenos balcones.

- Las habitaciones compartidas poca privacidad entre una cama y otra, le faltan cortinas y luz propia a cada cama.
