La Casa del Pozo Azul

Lots of spiders and other small biting insects in the bed, had to leave after the first night. I think some of the rooms are better than others, but the room I stayed in was rough. Mold all the walls and ceiling, mushrooms growing in the shower. No hot water either.

Shortly after I arrived, saw a cat in the dorm. Told staff I'm allergic, so please keep the door closed. Day 2 after they cleaned, they left the door open so when I returned from hiking the cat was in the room again. Do not stay here if you have allergies. Also, no working fan in the dorm so it gets very hot, especially on top bunk. Only cold showers. Bathroom door didn't lock. 2 lockers in 4 bed dorm. Burger comes w/ mayo & raw onions, not carmalized. Pets try to eat your food. Dog barks at 5am

Nice place to relax but a bit far away from centre. Staff are friendly but guests were not really speaking to each other which was a bit sad. They don’t have a laundry service so our clothes stayed super humid the whole trip with limited places to dry but there’s a service nearby apparently.

Muy buen lugar si te gusta caminar, sin ruido de ciudad sino sonido del agua del río, en medio del bosque y cerca de la pequeña cascada pozo azul. Para llegar se pasa una aventura en morotaxi

Loved staying at Casa Pozo Azul. It was calm, clean and the perfect place to get a nice rest after some adventures in Minca. The food was great, the place was clean and comfortable. Definitely coming back.

Sehr Schöne Unterkunft. - Etwa 30 min zu Fuß von Minca entfernt. - Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. - Das Privatzimmer ist groß und schön mit einem sauberen Bad. Würde gerne wieder kommen :)

This hostel is a way from the centre of Minca but is super close to the popular Pozo Azules. This meant you could wake early and enjoy the waterfalls before the crowds arrived. The walk to the town was safe and pretty, and regular mototaxis (every 2 minutes during the day) pass so it is easy to get a lift if needed! The owners are lovely and so warm and welcoming. The hostel sits on the edge of the river with a well priced restaurant you can eat at enjoying the sound of the river!

One of my favourite places I visited in Colombia! I stayed in a 4 bed dorm with friends, plenty of space and the en-suite bathroom was nice. Included breakfast is standard but still really good, and the meals throughout the day were very tasty. Staff were super helpful and friendly, and we also fell in love with the dog and cats - it felt like a proper home! Location is perfect for a morning swim in the Pozo Azul waterfall, and a nice dip in the river at the property. Wish I stayed for longer

There was no hot water in our rooms for the shower. Some days this was ok , others when it was raining not so

Amazing staff who went through all recommendations for Minca first night. Nice location by the river. Low season, one night was enough here but was a good one :)

amazing place, I really enjoyed staying here. one down side is due to the location our room was very moist. I probably wouldn't stay here if I had a mould allergy.

Awesome staff, special mention to Benoit who was a great help. Beautiful room and location, right on the river with private access. Property is out of town but it’s a nice walk. Fully equipped industrial kitchen to use, and wifi only in shared spaces. If you need transport, you can only reach the property on a bike which is a rocky ride! simply put: amazing! if you're looking for a peaceful place to call home for a few days, this is the place for you. My friends and I enjoyed our stay here: nice rooms, beautiful outside hanging nets overlooking the river. A large patio with seating and wifi access & some hammocks across the property. Excellent and beautiful hostel. A short pretty walk from Pozo Azul. Very friendly, nice staff. One of the best hostels we’ve stayed in! Wifi in shared space was good, but patchy elsewhere. Showers were hot and the breakfast (included) and dinner (extra) were delicious. There’s a beautiful river at the back of the property which you can enter. There was an unexpected service charge, 30,000 COP overall (we stayed two days and had dinner on both). The two cats and little dog are very very cute!...
