Centralstation Vandrarhem Uppsala

Great place, note most rooms do not have windows. It wasnt clear from the listing so heads up. Also internet is good, just a bit difficult if you are doing video calls. Otherwise, great for a short stay.

The communication between the site and the hostel did not work. I booked with a check-in at 11 PM but was turned away because I needed to be in the dorm room before 10 PM. After making my deposit, I had to spend the night at the train station, which is unacceptable for a solo female traveler. In the room, I was awakened at night by loud doors, and the sleep quality without a window was poor. The argument for having a check-in before 10 PM, claiming I might disturb others, is unbelievable

Gute Lage und sauber, aber die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel und ungemütlich (zumindest meines da ohne Fenster und alles in schwarz) Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt bei dem man viel außerhalb des Zimmers unterwegs ist ok. Die Lage direkt neben Bahnhof und Busterminal super für Bahn/Busreisende

Sowohl der eher kleine Schlafraum (4 Betten) als auch die Küche haben leider keine Fenster, also kein natürliches Licht. Ventilation in der Nacht war okay. Es gibt gemeinsame Sanitäranlagen für Frauen und Männer (mehrere Waschbecken, ca 6 Duschen und 6 Klos). Einige Klos waren leider verstopft.

Almkst everything was good, but some toilets didn't flush that wel. But Nice quiet place to sleep next to Upsalla central.

Emplacement parfait ! Personnel gentil. Parties communes un peu anciennes et pas très accueillante c’est dommage ! La chambre est triste et sombre sans fenêtre ): Les salles de bains sont propres.

On the whole good. To be really fabulous, there should be a real lounge with daylight without obligation to consume

take the upper bed, the lower one will make you hit your head everytime 😂

It’s not a social hostel. A bunch of old people are staying and there’s no way of socializing with other travelers. You can only do laundry for Max 2hrs and you have to book those 2hrs in the morning to ensure you’re assigned a time slot in the evening. One young guy in the reception was rude and you have to almost beg him to ensure your laundry goes smoothly. If you’re in Stockholm, Uppsala is good for a day trip, it’s not worth staying here. Good for a night. If visiting Stockholm, just stay there, not much going on in Uppsala. Restaurants closed pretty early. Right by train station and felt super safe.

Nice and clean place, spotless bed linens and great staff. All perfect except no lockers in the dorm and only tiny lockers in shared area, about large enough for a few books or something of that size.

Very nice place. it is right next to the main train station in the town which is very convenient. The staff were helpful and the kitchen in this place was very nice. The one downside was that the atmosphere left a lot to be desired

Everything was clean, my room and the shared bathroom. Only thing about this place was that there is no communal area to hangout in so I felt confined to my room or the kitchen. Also the front desk staff were professional but not kind. They weren't very "warm". Other than that, I had a wonderful time and had two great bunk mates.

Clean showers and toilets. Clean room. Polite staff. Close to central station. Towel included. No lockers in my dorm. Most people who stayed there seemed to me like they were staying long-term, working in Uppsala. No common areas for meeting people.

a welcome and pleasant surprise, great value for money, no extra charges for linen etc really enjoyed staying here security is ok, i mean no issues, but having a locker in the room would be nice location is excellent, right next to the main station staff were very helpful and pleasant, they were in good spirits and chill; the cleaner allowed me to go into my room to get my things no problem, after check out time, which was really kind

Good location to visit uppsala , not far from the train station . Very small room without windows ( so it can be a little stuffy ) The place to hung out is not super welcoming and the kitchen is in the basement . Overall , I had an ok stay , as I did not spend much time on the hostel. It seems like most people there are students ( not really travelling and visiting vibes )

La description des chambres gagnerait à être précisée. La petite fenêtre donne sur un couloir. Espace calculé au minimum. La cuisine est au sous-sol sans fenêtre. Sinon idéalement placé proche de la gare et du centre. Le personnel est disponible et agréable.
