HI Munich North-Dachau

Felt very safe my whole stay! I will say the guests here seemed on the older side, in addition to some very loud and rowdy groups of young students that might keep you up at night. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Dachau train station, and an easy 20 minute ride to Munich’s central station. Wifi is hit and miss, depending where you are in the building. Grocery store and coffee shop across the street and around the corner.

The staff were friendly but not very clear on how things operated. I didn't know where the bathrooms were located, or if breakfast was included. I think I was the only non-student hostel guest. It felt like I was at a boarding school of some sort. There was a large group of 16 year old students who were understandably very loud and excited to be there but it made it hard for me to sleep. The food was ok but not great. Overall it was clean & comfortable and I would stay there again.

Good location and the staff was great. Breakfast was very good . We stayed an extra day it was so good.
