Gibbon Backpackers Hostel

This property is pathetic!! I booked a single private room with attached bathroom. When I reached there I was shocked to see the room. It was at the backyard & there was no light at all. I had to go through the kitchen area towards the back. When asked the care taker to on the light, he asked me to use my mobile flash light. There was no attached bathroom. Room was pathetic. Bathroom was at pathetic condition. No hot water. Not hygienic at all. I entered the property & left within no time.

It's a good place, bit more improvement is staff and other available services can make it better.

Many mosquitoes are present, and the beds are both uncomfortable and unclean. In summary, it might be suitable for hardcore backpackers.

nice relaxed hostel, good location and value for money, the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner and we didn't like some of the grafiti (especially the stoned hitler drawing) but overall we enjoyed staying here

I wouldn't recommend this hostel for even a day stay. The washrooms were not clean and had negligible effort on cleanliness. We were a group of 4 and could not stay there for even an hour. We booked another hotel nearby and checked out immediately.
