Lisb'on Hostel

Extremely rude, unwelcoming staff. On arrival - walked 50 min from train station, last 10 min ONLY uphill + 33 C at 7pm. As a result I was sweating and out of breath. There were 3 receptionist there, One kept chatting with other one. It felt I was completely ignored. When I asked for a glass of water, they said it is on first floor instead of getting me some water Ms Receptionist NONAME offered to call an ambulance?!? I said no, I need water. Fridge unavailable btw 23:00 & 7:30am. AVOID!!!

The staff came across as somewhat impolite. Despite arriving early to complete the check-in formalities, I was made to wait for over 30 minutes. The reason given to me was that the staff were changing shifts, even though there were three of them behind the counter. Furthermore, the location was not ideal, and the condition of the washroom was appalling.

No estoy contenta, ya que en un inicio trámite el alojamiento, pero luego quise cancelar. Mi reserva no la encontré para cancelarla y he abonado el precio del alojamiento sin haber estado. Entonces mi experiencia con vosotros ha sido nefasta.

Great location, and we felt very safe as two female travellers staying in a female only dorm. Staff were friendly, especially the nightwatchman. That said, there were issues with the hostel facilities. It has a lot of potential but is in dire need of maintenance! It is advertised as being fully air-conditioned, but when we arrived we were told it was not working in our room, but to be honest it did not seem to be working in any of the rooms when we spoke with other people staying there.

Breakfast is just sad. You have nutella, bread, slices of ham and cheese. Thats it. Atmosphere nonexistent. Location - depends what you are looking for. It’s central. Water 1l is 2 euros, the same that is 28 cents in the supermarket, so keep that in mind.

This hostel isn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than 2 nights. There is really no atmosphere of friendliness or socializing like what you’d expect from a hostel. Obviously the hostel cannot control the friendliness of the people, but it’s not fun like a hostel should be. Perhaps the hostel can find better ways to get people talking, maybe hosting a game night or something that doesn’t necessarily cost money but can allow people to be social and bond with each other.

Boa localização perto do cais de Sodré, apenas muitas ladeiras porém isso é em toda a cidade. O único ponto negativo foi o extremo calor nos quartos, apesar de ligado o ar condicionado (que achei estranho não termos acesso ao controle apenas quando requisitado na recepção, e mesmo assim o mesmo só ficava ligado algumas horas e não a noite toda), no quarto em que fiquei o ar mesmo ligado não gelava nada e ficava mais quente do que com as janelas abertas ( que ocasionou na entrada de m...

El hostel normal, lo mejor la ubicación. Puede mejorar mucho en la limpieza. No olvidar nada en las habitaciones porque me robaron un cargador de móvil a primera hora de la mañana...

The only good thing about this hostel is its location. The staff don’t understand the concept of being friendly, plan to be shushed constantly, super rude. Also, the bathrooms are dingy and gross. They make you ask them if you want anything from the AC remote to have the kitchen door open. Don’t go here

Great location and breakfast included! Also has a garden which is really nice to relax in when sunny. The dorms were noisy with people coming and going constantly, plus snoring. But that’s to be expected in 10 bed. The bathrooms were not great - often missing paper, water all over the floor, and lukewarm shower

Niente di speciale. Ho soggiornato 3 giorni nella camera da 8 letti. Comodo se vi serve essere in quella posizione ma importante da sapere che se finite nelle stanze con finestre che danno sulla strada la notte può essere molto rumorosa. Personale non troppo gentile, specialmente la ragazza che lavora la notte, mai visto un sorriso da parte sua e sempre abbastanza scontrosa. Bagno degli uomini sempre sporco. Non c'è un'atmosfera da social hostel.

I used this hostel as a bit of a quiet break in a long trip. It was great for this! The hostel is pretty quiet / not super social. The facilities are great, the kitchen is massive and the outdoor spaces are exactly as photographed, really amazing! Location is great too and I did feel safe here as a female solo traveller. I would come back here! The breakfast was very standard but included in price is good enough for what I was paying.

Me encantó todo del Hostel, desde la ubicación hasta los servicios que brinda. Es el mejor hostal en el que he estado, muy bonito, amplio, limpio, son muy amables los empleados, incluso reservédenuevo mi última noche al regresar de Lagos y ellos me guardaron el equipaje sin costo por 5 días. Lo recomendaré al 100!!!

This hostel was great - nice rooms, facilities (pool table and chill area) and an amazing view! The included breakfast was a nice addition too. Friendly and helpful staff. The toilets could have been better, and the showers for me weren’t hot, but it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Great hostel in a perfect location. Lots of room to work or chill. They had 2 storage options which was nice: under bed stoagrage that locked as well as a standing locker. Overall great stay! Only notes were that the bathrooms were super dark and it was hit or miss on having hot water to shower.

This hostel was great! Located on a quiet street, not far from one of the main squares and metro stop. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was your typical European breakfast but good and included. My only complaint was that the hot water in the women's bathroom on my floor took a solid 15 minutes to finally heat up.

El lugar es fantástico, limpio y ordenado, la cocina es 100% funcional amplia. Las camas son amplias al igual que los espacios para guardar tus cosas. La ubicación es central.

The dorm with the view of the river was one of the best views I have ever seen in a hostel. Common areas are spacious, there's a pool table and a foosball. The fact that the breakfast is included is fantastic. However the only disadvantage are the bathrooms. I found them to be not very clean, and the soap dispenser in one of the toilets didn't work during the entire stay! The location is ideal, in a lovely street. Overall I would definitely recommend but it might not be ideal for longer stays.

The Bathroom could be cleaner. However I like the whole place. Would truly recommend it

Great hostel, location was amazing. Put you in some cool locations. Beds super comfortable! Showers amazing and lots of room in the kitchen. Wish there were more social things happening at the hostel. I went to a few other hostels that had family dinner nights, tapas nights anda fado night. But this place is great!

Staff were welcoming. Doors did not lock. Breakfast was ok. Close to the water and city centre. Lockers under the bed only work with smaller locks.

Absolutely loved this hostel! I arrived late -- like 1 or 2 am due to a flight delay -- and the staff was still friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. There are lockers for each bed, and the beds themselves are really comfortable. You even get a heavy blanket and curtain, which is always a nice surprise. The breakfast was great and reliable, and it's clear that the hostel makes a great effort for people to socialize. The only issues to me was a lack of a shelf/place to put my glasse...

Adorei ficar no Lisb'on. Perto de tudo, fácil acesso ao metro. Muito próximo de bons lugares para jantar e visitar a noite. Quarto limpo, confortável e seguro. E funcionários super prestativos.

Very well located, clean and great terrace and view. But there is no ambiance, it’s quite cold. The common rooms are always empty which is a little bit sad.

Not very social but so beautiful hostel with good kitchen facilities and big and comfortable rooms!

Good hostel, AC is ok- reception manage this and set a timer, AC may turn off in the middle of the night due to the timer. Bathrooms fine, beds fine. Good locker storage. Would suggest having a long charging cable as there’s no place to put your phone or other items while charging, other then on the bed. Only found the young volunteer from Eastern Europe friendly, all other staff were rude.
