I arrived for check-in with no one to receive me, later finding the key after calling the owner. The bathroom latch twice trapped me inside, forcing me to break it. On the first night, the owner entered my room without permission near midnight demanding payment; on the second, he repeatedly disturbed me, insisting I learn to use the faulty lock. The room was cold, smelt unpleasant, lacked blankets, and I was told to use only one bed. Overall, an unsafe and disrespectful stay.

Avoid this place! Staff is rude and argumentative, completely unsupportive. 1 Star is way too much.

90 pounds per night was a rort. Very dirty, one shower for 6 rooms, each with at least two beds so 1 shower for 12 people. Certainly didn't feel secure leaving my things there. No soap in the toilet. For 90 pounds a night it was awful, and you had to book two nights. I left after the first night so it was a very expensive 180 pound sleep!

We had two twin beds. The mattresses were uncomfortable because you could feel the springs. As you face the building we were on the top right room. It has a lot of glass so in the afternoon the sun coming through the windows makes it very hot. I emailed asking if they had a fan.I never received a reply. The owner came into our room while we were away to empty our tiny wastepaper basket. But on the positive side the shared bath room on our side was clean and the showed worked well.

Rude welcome, freezing cold, I asked if I could store my luggage on the last day and the guy said I could leave it out in the garden. On my last day the preview was for it to rain cats and dogs. What a horrible accommodation. Find something else if you have the budget. Never ever again!

de kamer was niet schoon: stof op de kastjes en tv, plakkerig planchet boven wastafel, vuile wastafelspiegel, kauwgom in de hoek. We hebben verder niemand gezien om te vragen de kamer beter schoon te maken. We hebben zelf doekjes gekocht om schoon te maken. Vloer in de gang zag er smerig uit. Douche bleven de haren in de bak achter.

Die Unterkunft ist sowohl von außen als auch von innen einigermaßen schäbig. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber, aber für die Anzahl an Zimmern ist eine gemeinsame Dusche auf dem Flur definitiv zu wenig. Immerhin befindet sich in den Zimmern ein kleines Waschbecken. Den Vermieter haben wir in vier Tagen nur ein einziges Mal gesehen (bei der Ankunft) und da war er recht unfreundlich. Sicherlich ein günstiger Preis - aber nicht wieder!

Room 1. No bedside light means getting out of bed to turn off ceiling light. Cant see switch if getting out of bed in the dark. No shelf in shower to put own bottlle of shampoo / soap:, except on wet floor. Loo seat wobbles.

Overall not terrible, but not great either. It's in a convenient location and the owner seems friendly enough. However, the bathroom situation is bad--I think there were six people sharing one bathroom. Also, the shower pressure is really bad. The walls seemed relatively thin because I could hear through them pretty clearly.

A really cute place just about a 20-30 min walk from the centre of Cambridge. The owner, George, was so nice and accomodating even though I arrived while he was still cleaning the place from guests over the weekend. The rooms are simple, but very comfortable, and the entire house is super clean and very well-maintained it seems. I seemed to be only one of a couple guests staying there at the time, but I can imagine the bathroom might get a bit difficult to navigate when it's more crowded.

Great apartament and George was very kind and welcoming! Totally recommend

Please return me the deposit. The owner said he got nothing from the deposit and I paid him the cash.

George was so kind and most helpful! Lovely place & right near everything!

We had a great one night stay. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the center of Cambridge so was well located. It was great value for the price considering the travel lodge around the corner was twice the price. The person who met us at reception was very accommodating and helpful.

Had absolutely no issues, easy check in, lovely host just let us do our thing , we may have been a bit of a pain but everything was brilliant, comfy bed and secure

A little out of the way, but very easy to book and check in. The room was a bit cramped for 3 people, and you could hear the other people clearly sometimes. However, we really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient for our uses and the guy who checked us in was super nice.

The property is worth for money and in good location. Parking spaces available in front of property. Cleanliness is better but shared toilet has it's own drawback. The owner agreed us for visitors when check inn. But his after behaviour was quite surprised that he wants more money to get visitor inside the property. That wan not acceptable. Also he took portable heater from our room during night and said it's summer(even though it was raining), can't provide heater. Not recommended for bachelors

Great spot; near central cambridge, accessible, clean, private, and welcoming.

Value for money. Not posh. But clean & comfortable. For the money, perfect.

Great little place to stay if you want some peacepeace and quiet. A bit of a walk from the city center, but there's a plaza nearby with scooters. Plaza has food, convenience store, a movie theater and arcade. Host was very kind. No laundry and i dont think there was a kitchen, but there are nearby facilities for that.
