Hakuna Matata Glamping

Die Menschen die hier arbeiten sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Allerdings waren die Duschen/WC‘s nicht sauber und auch die Unterkünfte waren muffig.

Peu de place pour se reposer dans l’auberge à part la chambre. Quand nous sommes arrivés le dimanche tout était fermé. Nous avons du aller dans un autre hôtel pour utiliser le téléphone pour contacter l’auberge.

This hostel was very well located in Bacalar. The breakfast (which costs extra) was delicious! The staff were all lovely. You can hire bikes from the hostel. The room was very warm in July with just a fan, but that’s to be expected.

The location was quiet and cozy. The stuff friendly and it is really close to everything. Maybe to notice that towels are to rent.

Good value little tipi room, very limited space inside so better for a single traveller or couple sharing, my friend and I found. The hostel were very laid back and friendly and helped ua to organise a sunset boat trip which was really nice. Thanks so much :)

Really unique hostel with really friendly staff. Great location just one street back from the main square and near lots of bars and restaurants. It’s basic but clean and comfortable too. There are some common areas but no kitchen.

Süße kleine Hütten mit einem einfachem Konzept, aber sehr schön umgesetzt! Die Lage mitten in der Stadt ist super, das Personal sehr nett. Im vorderen Bereich kann man frühstücken oder abends noch etwas essen und trinken. In der Hütte selbst ist es etwas eng, davor gibt es jedoch noch einen kleinen Sitzbereich. Leider wird wie schon von anderen beschrieben alles schnell ein bisschen klamm, Badeklamotten trocknen auch außen vor der Hütte nicht wirklich gut.

It’s very nice and relaxing for a couple of days. Also the cheapest/most decent stay for a couple in the area. The breakfast was very nice! Wouldn’t recommend for long stays as the hut is very damp, our stuff was starting to feel a bit mouldy after 3 days. Difficult if you need to be using the Wi-Fi as it doesn’t work in the huts and the seat area gets busy with people that come to the bar/cafe to eat from other places, and it gets full most mornings. Also there is no mostiquo net over bed

Great for the price! The staff is so friendly and helpful, you can book all kinds of tours with them and they offer breakfast. I wouldn’t call it Glamping though, since the cabanas are very small (just the bed and a little shelf and a (loud) fan. I still highly recommend the Hostel. It’s perfectly located and a nice vibe!

Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft in Bacalar, die ich sehr empfehlen kann. Das Team ist super lieb, die Cabaña sehr gemütlich und ruhig! Auch das Frühstück kann ich empfehlen. Ich komme gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

Great little spot. The guys working there are super friendly, the glamping huts are great. It's small, intimate and fan only but we expe Ted that going in and the fan kept us surprisingly cool. Infact we had to turn if off in the night both nights we stayed. Without the fan on during the day it can get a little muggy but thats to be expected. Probably wouldnt want to hang around in your pods much during the day due to them being quite small and warm but for a nice place to sleep and keep you

This was a great place to stay in Bacalar. My partner and I felt so comfortable in our cabin and it was the perfect place to relax. The staff were super helpful and responsive. We didn’t want to leave!

Desde que llegamos nos trataron de maravilla, todo el staff es súper amable y el ambiente es increíble. Te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. La pasamos genial y sin duda fue uno de los mejores lugares donde nos hemos quedado. ¡Me encantó y definitivamente volvería!

Coole Unterkunft für ein zwei Nächte. Super nettes Personal. Top Lage. Dusche hatte etwas wenig Wasser aber reicht zum Duschen.

Awesome place! Great vibes - we loved the palm huts and the decor throughout was great and quirky. Very friendly welcome and a perfect base to explore Bacalar from.

This hostel was perfect for our one night stay. The staff are probably the friendliest we’ve met on our 3 month trip, and the food at the restaurant was AMAZING (tacos for $25 mx, including vegetarian options). Cute little rooftop too!

Enjoyed a different vibe to hostels. The Mayan feel huts were cool at night and comfortable.
