+ Rapporto qualità/prezzo abbastanza buono, anche se la struttura sembrava molto più bella ed accogliente in foto.
- La mattina all'alba prima di affrontare la salita al Cerro Negro ho lasciato un borsellino con il passaporto e il denaro in reception come da istruzioni apposte con cartello in camera, ma al rientro ho trovato 300$ in meno. Parlando con il responsabile ho scoperto che la persona alla reception nel turno di notte non ha seguito le loro stesse regole che prevedono di contare il denaro, ma purtroppo la persona che ha subito il danno sono stata io.

- No nos gustó porque no cumplieron con lo acordado previamente, la mayoría de los colaboradores nos trataron mal, no se expresaron de manera cordial con nosotros, cuando estábamos cenando nos mandaron a callar, nos hicieron prohibiciones que no explicaron al haber acordado con ellos, se nos negó el acceso a la piscina y luego nos alejamos un poco porque según estábamos molestando a los huéspedes y aún así nos llegaron a callar como chiquillos. Cabe recalcar que somos 7 y estábamos conversando como un grupo suele hacerlo. De haber dicho que no podíamos hacer ruido no llegábamos al hostal. Para concluir encontramos ratas en la cocina y tenemos evidencia de ellas. Ni siquiera dormimos ahí y nos trataron mal al marcharnos. Pagando todo, que ni usamos. Posteriormente nos escribieron de manera grosera vetandonos del lugar como que nosotros fuimos los que actuamos mal. Adjunto prueba de las ratas y la conversación que se tuvo.
This is a FAMILY ORIENTED HOSTEL. There were kids and family. Using the pool is impossible because kids were junping in there all day long. Families were making dinners so sitting at a table or cook was impossible. Not many travelers and no opportunity to socialize. The GIRLS at the front desk were great but the rest of the staff rude.
Only two toilets, not actual bathrooms (all outdoor), only two showers. Not very clean, sink tap barely works. Pool was tiny and not as pictured, its far from all the other hostels. Some staff were great and others had no idea what they were doing which was frustrating. Came back from pub crawl and the doors were shut before they were supposed to be so we had to wait outside in the dark ringing the doorbell multiple times before someone woke up ( we were told it would be unlocked until 2!)
Would rather sleep on the streets.

- Están todos los carteles únicamente en Inglés lo que es una falta de respeto total para los nicaragüenses,su historia y su cultura. El pago en dólares,sin problemas, el pago en córdobas encarece el precio ya que usan el tipo de cambio que les da la gana. El pago con tarjeta lo encarece entorno al 10% más ya que usan un sistema de app para el cobro y no una terminal. Perfecto ejemplo de hostel gentrificador. Ideal para turistas gringos no apto para viajeros del mundo

- ze laten kinderen toe. die zorgen voor veel overlast. airco en ventilatie doen het niet. geen schoonmaak van de kamer tijdens verblijf.

+ The best hostel breakfast I had ever in my life. Very helpful and friendly staff, great location, cool common areas and good pool. Everyone gets a personal fan in their beds which was great.

+ Muy buena relacion calidad y precio. El personal estuvo muy atento y disponible. Los desayuno son muy ricos y baratos si quieren comprar extra (4$). Nos gusto todo del hostal. Gracias!!!!

+ A really nice relaxing haven in the city. Small pool, cold drinks in the fridge (you run a tab), pool table. Welcoming for a family. The room was nice and had a view over the rooftops and treetops.
- The pool's drainage system was a little stinky but the water seemed fine.
+ Muito bem localizado no centro de leon, perto dos principais pontos de atração turística, mas ao mesmo tempo suficientemente distante para ser muito sossegado. O staff foi super simpático e prestativo. Cheguei bem cedo de manhã e pude deixar as malas enquanto saí para explorar a cidade. O quarto com a/c foi fundamental para suportar o calor de leon.

Very well located in the center of leon, close to the main tourist attractions, but at the same time far enough away to be very quiet. the staff was super friendly and helpful. i arrived very early in the morning and could leave my bags while I went out to explore the city. the room with a/c was fundamental to withstand the heat of leon. nothing.

+ La Tortuga es casa afuera de casa. El servicio es excepcional, el desayuno delicioso y la ubicacion optima. Desde la recepcion hasta la cocina, el personal te va a sentir comodo, y siempre estan dispuestos a darte sugerencias de que hacer y donde ir. En recepcion te agendar cualquier tour o transporte que ocupes y te mantienen al tanto de qué mas está ocurriendo en Leon. La ubicacion es estrategica para el viajero tranquilo pero tambien cercana para caminar a los bares cercanos.

La Tortuga is home away from home. the service is exceptional, the breakfast delicious and the location optimal. from the reception to the kitchen, the staff will make you feel comfortable, and are always willing to give you suggestions on what to do and where to go. at the reception we will schedule any tour or transport you take and keep you up to date on what else is happening in Leon. the location is strategic for the quiet traveler but also close enough to walk to the nearby bars. i have no...

+ Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren echt cool. Der kleine Pool und die Außendusche waren völlig ausreichend für eine Abkühlung. Vor allem das Frühstück (zu empfehlen die pancakes) war wirklich lecker und man konnte zwischen mehreren Gerichten wählen.
- Das Zimmer war ein wenig düster und nicht ganz so sauber an der ein oder anderen Ecke. Für den Preis aber vollkommen ok.

Great hostel! Staff were super friendly and helpful and it had a nice chilled vibe, as described. Dorms were also quite large and comfortable. The only minor suggestion I would have would be that it would be nice to have lights in the bunks in the dorm. But really a very nice hostel. I will return next time I am in Leon.
