Oasis Hostel

Bedrooms are super uncomfortable, curtains are such a simple and cheap thing to install! The people staying were strange and not at all a fun vibe here.

This was my worst hostel experience. I have travelled to over 29 countries and this by far was terrible. You can hear everything from someone urinating to people playing music on the roof top When people cook it takes over the hostel smell even if your room is on a different story. The staff was getting high and blasting music past midnights. You hear even signal car and dog bark and you small the road from your window. I.hihhly.do not recommend this place. Hard to see why this place would be rated higher. The location is dreadful, there is nothing there, including places to eat out or for coffee. Therefore the property should have better living areas for guests to sit and chill, but there aren't any, other than areas without proper seats, settees/sofas, armchairs. hard to sit comfortably anywhere. Then what do you do? You have to get a bus into town. View over the city or hills is unexceptional, PV is not a beautiful place, its adequate.

Lo senti elevado el precio en la plataforma, tambien no me dieron tour para saber de las areas comunes o amenidades que ofrecian, y como mencionan aqui haces tu cama con las sabanas y fundas que te proporcionan, en la habitación que estuve faltaban conectores.

If you’re looking for a quiet place a bit outside of the main area then this might be for you. But if you’re looking to meet people then this won’t be ideal as it’s really quiet. The walk to the beach is about 30 minutes.

Positives: Private room comes with A/C + full bathroom. You get access to washer/dryer. And the staff were always happy to help with a smile. That goes a long way! Negatives: The room smelled like toilet :( . And there were one or two dead bugs on the floor of the room. Beyond handsoap at the sink, there were no basic toiletries other than toilet paper. And the shower was basically a mist - it put out so little water. Overall: Great value, but don't expect a ton!

The hostel is nice, though it is located next to a busy road and not very central. It has a small parking lot, and a beautiful rooftop. Breakfasts were very good ! We stayed in a room with no windows and next to the common space, which was not the best, but they have other rooms that seems better. Bathrooms were okay and there was hot water. Staff was nice and helpful.

If you're looking at this place, it's probably because you also ran out of options. The location is not good - a decent walk from the beach. Only saving grace is it forces you to see a quieter part of town. Rooms, bunks and lockers were pretty raw. Mattress was just a grid of springs, foam long gone. They only give a paper thin sheet. Cold. A lot of older expat Americans staying there long term. The old guy in my room complained about a lively chat next door at 10pm... that's the vibe

Weird vibes. It was pretty ride down, People sleeping in common areas was uncomfortable. The bunk beds were unstable and the mattresses completely worn. There was a giant garbage pile opposite the window, and a gaggle of roosters crowing all night was not ideal. The common areas were not welcoming and the roof top was lacking comfortable chairs. The best part probably was the breakfast and the fact it was away from the bar scene. I would not be staying again.

The lady is such a nice lady! The atmosphere was great and the breakfast was really good!

Oasis hostel is a good place to go if you're willing to travel a tiny bit further out (not that far - easy to do by walking), and are ready for a loud, social, chaotic fun friendly environment. It was New Years, so I can't speak to other times of the year, but my bed was open air to the reception and main hangout area, and there were people talking 24/7. Which didn't disrupt me because I was also up all night for New Years. I even survived a migraine in this place with loud pumping music.

Absolutely amazing . Staff were incredible . The layout is beautiful, big spacious rooms , the balconies are amazing . It’s really awesome, beds are comfy . Only downside is the location. But even then, a walk into town is full of surprises on every corner , and I wouldn’t miss it!

I stayed one night, had an entire female dorm to myself. The amenities were worth the price I paid. Nice en suite bathroom in the dorm, and plenty of showers and bathrooms around the building. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the beach. Ubers aren’t expensive though. The walk along the river was nice. Loved the free and homemade breakfast in the morning :)

Arrived for my 2 night stay and checked out shortly after. Location is very awkward and you can’t really walk to the town. Room was clean, got a free beer on check-in. Got sheets for bed but no pillowcase, pillow appeared somewhat dirty. AC on at night in female rooms apparently but no fan, was SO hot during the day due to this with door closed. Staff were mostly friendly, but checking out was very awkward. Host seemed upset and then lectured me on paying with a credit card. Got refund for 1da...

Great place to stay! Location is not terrible but definitely a little removed, however the staff and experience make up for it! A homemade breakfast in the morning really gets the day started off right. Clean, safe, and great people!

Siempre que viajo a Vallarta me gusta hospedarme en el Oasis , tiene buen precio , cerca de zona romántica ya sea caminando o en camión , las instalaciones son limpias , lo recomiendo

Muy bien. El personal muy agradable, todo muy limpio, la terraza con espectaculares vistas... Lo único malo es que es una calle con mucho tráfico y ruidosa, si no sería perfecto.. gracias

Great place! I initially only booked for 6 days but ended up extending for another 8days. this place felt like home. I unfortunately don't speak Spanish but all the staff made sure to make me feel welcome

Très propre et confortable. Personnel accueillant et efficace. Plusieurs belles rencontres avec des voyageurs de partout incluant le Mexique! La terrasse sur le toit est très agréable. Seul petit bémol; il y a beaucoup de traffic de le boulevard juste devant le hostel. Le bon petit déjeuner est inclus. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. C'était notre 3e visite et nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

If the oasis was not on a busy road and was much closer to the beach i’d give it 9.5/10. but location was just not great at all. very dangerous to walk anywhere due to traffic outside but staff were very friendly. the views of the surrounding forrest were awesome and breakfast was nice. the owner was very pleasant and helpful with directions and with serving breakfast. I stayed in private room and enjoyed the shower and toiletry needs in room.

Great place to crash. It’s just a mile away from romantic zona. Amazing views from the rooftop. Super friendly people at the reception and breakfast is delicious

difícil llegar a este hostel, esta retirado del la zona de interes, tienes q tomar un bus o un uber, la chica de recepcion apenas amable, el lugar es grande tiene cocina y te ofrecen una bebida de cortesía. tienen una terraza chevere pero sin nada de ambiente. te dan las sabanas para q hagas tu cama y se ve q otroa huespedes usan tu almohada si asi lo requieren. en el cuarto hay lookers so lleva tu candado mejor!. no nos hospedamos nos sentimos inseguros en el lugar.

I love everything about oasis :) it’s magical
