Meow Youth Hostel

Unfortunately, the photos are misleading. The entrance looks nothing like what’s shown online. Either it has been edited or altered since the photos were taken. It’s very messy. Overall, the hostel feels unclean: there were hairs everywhere, mold on the shower curtains and an unpleasant smell in the shower area. The windows were also left open which made it very cold. Ótimo lugar, eu não levei PETs mas parece ser bem friendly. Lugar bem limpo e organizado, na China é difícil ter uma atmosfera perfeita porque é quase não há estrangeiros ou falantes de inglês, fora isso, tudo ótimo.

Personal muy entregado con los.hueapedes y.muy simpáticos.La cama muy confortable . Recomendado

J'ai vraiment apprécié mon sejour sur place nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement (Mais pas en anglais). Pour ce qui est des installation elles sont correctes pour le prix que j'ai payé. L'hostel est à 3 stations de People Square ce sui est vraiment idéal pour se déplacer dans tout Shanghai. En prime l'hostel a un petit chaton trop mignon !!

The staff is nice but the hostel isn’t clean at all, I found a hair in my bed and mold in the showers and the entrance is also a mess.

This hostel is actually good. Usually theres one or two faults with a hostel but Ive found none here. It makes me wonder why other hostels have faults because if I ran one I would make it like this one. U know with a good set up. With internet that works. With a kitchen stocked up, with enough toilets and showers. Its not rocket science but somehow hostels usually have something thats annoying about them. Like maybe traffic which is noisy when sleeping but this place is sweet.

Nice stay over all - nice rooms and bathrooms (Dyson hairdryer!!) but the mattress was about 3in thick so very uncomfortable. wifi only worked in the lobby! very close to a metro station so extremely easy to travel into the city. staff were inviting and pleasant. quiet atmosphere so sleep was good! quite warm in the rooms also

Would stay again

Nice hostel for maximum a couple of nights, not more. No place to store the bags, but beds have a locker to store the important things. The stuff don't speak English, so be prepared for that. In general a good stay, but could have been better.

You can’t expect more. 600 mtr to metro station. Nice staff.

The staff from the hostel are really helpful & friendly. Metro Line 8 is very near (10min walking). Little markets really near in the corner; and Aldi is 7 min walking away. Rooms are confortable. A kitchen would give this hostel a better experience; but it is a really good option to stay in Shanghai.

It was quite a good stay. The personal, the rooms&toilets were nice. The shower rooms need an renovation/upgrade. But it is manageable. I was in a 9 girlsroom and I had a bed at the bottom next to the window. The only thing that was bothersome is, that the windows are not sealed up - I mean that the cold air from outside still came in all the time and my room was always very cold. The atmosphere was ok, but I think thats because there were not many foreigners and everyone was only for themself.
