The WiFi is terrible. Best to just use data instead. The air conditioning was out for a week leading me to buy a personal fan that took three days to cool down the room. The oven does not work. Had a grown man 45 years of age or older threaten to send someone to slap me. Completely unacceptable. I talked to the manager of this property and all he did was make excuses for why he allowed him back in the house. I’m very petite and part Japanese so to express this type of hatred towards someone is inexcusable. The entire house doesn’t have air conditioning right now btw. Has everything needed for a stay, good location to get to Hollywood. Would prefer curtains for the beds and some info on the door about check in info, but overall it was a great stay

You're in the centre of everything, but nowhere really close. It's not a classic hostel. People live there, so there's no real travelling vibe. The wifi is also not particularly good and mobile data hardly works at all indoors. It's best to only go here if you need a place to sleep and cook, but not if you're looking to meet people like in other hostels.

Very accommodating, clean, and everyone was respectful. I’ll definitely be back.

Not a classic social hostel, but a good place to stay right next to a bus stop and close to the metro. People we met were nice, cleaning lady very lovely. Kitchen seemed well equipped. Bathrooms were very nice.

Sono stata in questo Ostello per 4 notti. Posizione comoda perchè si è in mezzo tra Hollywood e Downtown. Di fronte c’è la fermata dei bus e vicino molti servizi. This place is cleaned on a daily basis. The rooms are clean. People need to remember to clean their own dishes.

Didn’t find any lockers

Horrible experience, I do not recommend this place; Here many homeless people live permanently. Enter the room and bed assigned via e-mail, on 08-03-24 at 07:15 am I slept quietly; Suddenly a black man, shouted and pushed me in bed, saying that this was his bed, he insulting me and encouraged me to fight. In this hostel, there is no reception or personnel who report the incident. I stayed in room 7 and bed 4 I realized that he left his belongings in the closet and refrigerator when he checks out

The rooms are small and the maid comes every morning to clean, it’s a bit annoying because she usually wakes ppl up. Most of the people there are citizens who live there because the rent is cheap. Not the most friendliest or most welcoming place, sure not a place to meet people new ppl. The bathrooms are far from clean, and I just didn’t like the whole vibe it was so unhappy. :/ Also a girl came into our room one night with the room code but she did not have a bed to sleep in. :l

Overall good place. No managers on site at all. This particular location has several transitional people living here as part of a program to become self-sufficient. Some drama, but that can be expected with long-term co-living situations. Not a lot of international tourists compared to other places. Don't count on the vending machine having fresh goods. No baskets or ways to identify your food in the kitchen. No way to know how long food has been there or is communal. Sometimes there is no room

The staff just speaks Spanish so there's no possibility to interact or ask them anything without a translator. The kitchen hardly has the basic utensils and their status is not the best (eg. 3 forks, 1 spoon for the whole building!!). Fair to be said, the host is very nice and available for anything, but there's no physical front desk or anybody so you'll not meet anyone from the staff.

To start the location is not very good, it is far from everything. The lockers are very small, about a square foot, so you can't keep many things there. Also the rooms near the main door are very noisy and have the music at a very high volume from 06:00 am therefore you cannot sleep.

It is more of a shared house. The people who stay there for longer periods are great. They are very friendly if you approach them. The ensuite room was much better than expected. I didn't use the kitchen. There is a big garden where you can have fresh air in the morning and have your coffee. I have read the reviews and people were complaining about feeling secure. Great place for long term stays! there's a nice community here & the owner is really nice + responds fast! The place is nice too, clean & good quality. Location is in the middle of everything while still in a pretty good neighborhood.

The janitors do an excellent job in taking care of this Hostel.
