Tequila Sunrise Potts Point Hostel

Das Hostel ist klein und eng, kaum Bäder für so viele Menschen, meine Bettwäsche + Handtuch hatten Flecken und komisch gerochen. Es leben dort sehr viele für einen längeren Zeitraum und dementsprechend ist die Stimmung ganz komisch. Die guten Bewertungen sind safe alle "gekauft", denn wenn man einen Screenshot mit einer Bewertung und dem Namen eines Mitarbeiters schickt, bekommt man gratis Partytickets. Das Essen war zwar gut, ich war aber froh zu gehen. Die Zimmercodes kannte auch jeder.

It could’ve been really good but honestly didn’t feel 100% Safe all of the time. It felt as though people who weren’t staying at the hostel knew the code to the doors and just helped themselves. The bathrooms were ok and the beds were fine but the room itself could’ve done with a freshen up

Not clean, I booked for a 6 beds room and I was put in a 8 beds room. Breakfast and lunch were not worth the money at all. Bathroom were dirty and there is no space to seat and relax except the rooftop which is freezing during winter. I had to leave after one night and I had to book another hostel and lost a lot of money

I booked bed just for new years night for an insane price of over 300 dollars in 4 beds dorm, it's ok hostel but the price killed everything, it's worth more than 10 times less. Rooms are very hot even with the fan on,super small room, no communal area to chill, there is rooftop but they close it early.

The rooms are far too small for the amount of people they squeeze in them, no proper storage, not enough toilets or showers. Staff are rude and not helpful at all they won’t check in until 2pm exactly leading to massive que as they are extremely slow at check in, not allowed to do washing in the mornings as staff use it, kitchen area far to small for the amount of people and bag starage is a joke tiny room leaving to bags piling up in the hall way. Honestly not sure how this hostel is still op...

Das Hostel war unglaublich dreckig. Auf jedem Stockwerk gab es nur 2 Toiletten die immer belegt waren und man gefühlt für einen Platz im Bad kämpfen musste. Die Leute waren nicht wirklich nett und haben die Ruhe zeiten überhaupt nicht eingehalten. Überall war es einfach nur dreckig. Auch unsere Bett was eher ein Sarg war hat echt gestunken. Ich würde dieses Hostel keinem weiter empfehlen !!!

When I arrived there was nobody at reception. I waited 20 minutes before somebody eventually came and showed me my room. The beds look NOTHING like the photos on here and the rooms are tiny. All you are provided with is a thin itchy blanket and a mostly empty pillow in a coffin shaped bed that is about 3 foot tall. There were crumbs all over the floor and flies EVERYWHERE in the shower. Spend the extra and stay somewhere else

I think this may be the worst hostel ive ever stayed in. When we arrived we were told we couldnt have the room we booked as it was no longer available? So we were asked to either split up or pay to upgrade to a better room. After refusing we were given the “upgrade” for free. The new room had no aircon or power outlets and the windows did not close. There was construction going on all throughout the hostel for the duration of our stay and the staff were rude and unhelpful. Dirty in general!

Wahrscheinlich waren wir einfach schon zu alt für den Laden. An die Hostel Regeln wurde sich nicht gehalten, sehr viele Dauerbewohner die sich weniger wie Gäste verhalten sondern als ob ihnen der Laden gehört. Das Zimmer war vollgestellt mit Klamotten und anderem Kram. Wir sind trotz Buchung von vier Tagen nach zwei Tagen ausgezogen.

Ale is a very friendly staff member super helpfull, the bathrooms and shower are clean (got cleaned daily or even more), chill atmosphere here, rooms are not big but forces you to keep your staff at your bed so kinda good

Alot of Long term stay residents with working visa but otherwise nice. Alex was in the register very nice lad😎

Das Hostel war ordentlich und sauber. Beim Frühstück gab es viel Auswahl (Pancaces,Joghurts,Müsli,Eier,Tiefgefrorene Beeren) Das Abendessen war überwiegend sehr lecker. Die Küche ist zum selbstkochen auch top ausgestattet. Die Betten sind sauber und man hat alles was man braucht. Die Toiletten waren meistens sauber. Die negativen Sachen die uns aufgefallen sind waren, dass 80% der Menschen dort Spanish gesprochen habe und man sich ausgeschlossen gefühlt hat. Das Bad war auch einmal se...

Very good for the price. Linen and sleeping pods were clean and felt private with the curtain you can draw and powerpoints, lamp and mini table within the walled sleeping pod. Bathrooms also well cleaned and the free meals provided were surprisingly good quality. Could get little crowded in the lobby area though the people staying there were friendly. Nice rooftop deck with city views. Carpet on the stairs looked quite old and grubby but in the rooms if was fine.

Sin dudas es el mejor hostel al que podés ir al llegar a Sydney. Alejandro se portó de maravilla atendiendo todas las dudas y solucionando los problemas, aparte de ser extremadamente amable, muchas gracias Alejandro y a todos los chicos del Staff 👏👏 el desayuno y cena hacen toda la diferencia! Y el ambiente está bueno porque hay muchos latinos con los cuales compartir al llegar a Sydney! Graciasss

Excelente hostel , buena ubicación los desayunos y las cenas son de 10 , los chicos de recepción súper buena onda Ale nos atendió muy buena onda, súper recomiendo!

Good location, but if you’re not spanish or italian, it is very hard to join people and their groups. It is more like a hostel where people who work in sydney live, so not many backpacker vibes. The free breakfast and dinner is nice, but the dinner is very meh and not too filling, so this shouldn’t be the main reason to stay here. The rooms are for sure nicer on the pics, but they’re honestly super fine, the rooms are just a little dirty looking. Wouldn’t go again. Go if you’re spanish...

Was a great stay. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Ale checked us in & made sure everything was sorted quickly, which was nice because I'd just decided to walk an hour+ to the hostel with all my bags so I was on the cusp of conconsciousness by the time I arrived. Highly recommend!

I have been travelling for 8 months and this is one of the best hostels I've found. Especially in Aus. It is clean! So nice and clean, it comes with everything needed including nice shampoo and conditioner and towels. Bonus is the free food, breakfast is outstanding, THE best breakfast spread I've seen in a hostel. The staff are so nice too! Ale made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived, big smile on this face.
