Dude, I don't even know where to start. Pulled up exhausted and sweaty after a brutal bus ride, and within five minutes I had a cold drink in my hand and my shoes off. That's hospitality you can't fake. The dorm setup is simple but everything just works sturdy bunks, proper lockers, and fans that don't rattle annoyingly all night. A truly spotless hostel with some of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve slept on in Java. The rooftop terrace is a fantastic spot to swap trek stories with other travellers over a Bintang. It’s incredibly social without being a party place. My constructive feedback is regarding the noise insulation from the street facing rooms. The early morning call to prayer is beautiful, but the constant scooter traffic until late makes earplugs a must-have for a solid night’s sleep before a hike.

Social hostel where I met people from six different countries in just two nights. Evening bonfire sessions with guitar playing created memories I'll keep forever. Beds are comfy with real pillows and the dorm never felt crowded despite being fully booked. Free bike rental let me explore the local market at my own pace. If I must suggest something, a few more cushions on the outdoor benches would be nice.

Honestly didn't expect much for the price, but wow. The rooftop view at sunset is insane you see the hills turning purple. Made friends with a german guy and we rented scooters together to red island beach. Staff helped arrange everything without commission. Only downside: thin walls, bring earplugs if you're light sleeper. But the family dinner night was delicious, homemade tempeh.

Even though the hostel was lively, I appreciated how quiet and restful my room was. I had no trouble sleeping, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. A perfect balance between social and peaceful.

We stayed here for a night before hiking Mt Ijen and had a great time!! The private room is great value for money, there is a water refill and a small kitchen with coffee and tea.
