The Beachfront Hostel

Simply the worst place I’ve stayed. The photos are all from the hotel’s resort on the beach which we have access to. But everything in the hostel was gross. Damp everywhere. Damp beds, a large towel for a duvet, weird leaking substances and the showers are completely disgusting, not sure I ever saw them clean.

AVOID!! This looks great online and the OUTDOOR facilities here are great, the INSIDE however was appalling. Firstly the rooms had a severe damp issue, bedding all stank and was damp and never dried, clothes from my bag which arrived dry left this establishment wet. Bathrooms absolutely stank and were not clean. There was also a pigeon living outside the showers which left poo all over the floor and no one did anything about it???? Had to leave after one night!!

The area is not nice, the street smells and is full of coffee shops (selling weed) and tourist restaurants. The room was COLD and DAMP and the lady at the front desk said she couldn’t do anything because she didn’t have the remote. The showers are very old and RUSTY. There is no kitchen. There are no lockers in the rooms, only in the corridor, with no surveillance cameras. My lock was forced and my money STOLEN. Of course the staff said they could not do anything about it. In one word ...

Das gute an dem Hostel war die Lage, obwohl wir nur 2 Tage da blieben, waren wir sehr froh, endlich zu gehen. Unser Zimmer war klein, hatte Schimmel an der Decke, unsere Betten waren feucht, konnten die Klimaanlage nicht selbst einstellen und es wurde nicht gefegt oder sauber gemacht. Außerdem hatten wir eine Kakerlake im Zimmer, das Hostel Staff hat versucht, diese zu entfernen aber nicht geschafft. Die Toiletten sind dreckig und die Mehrheit der Duschen kalt. Wir würden es niemandem empfehle...

Der Aufenthalt war katastrophal. Meine Freundin und ich waren in einem sechs Betten Zimmer und waren froh, als es vorbei war. Das ganze Hostel war dreckig, die Zimmer waren komplett feucht. Es hat nach Schimmel gerochen und wir haben fast gar keine Luft bekommen in dem Zimmer. Außerdem waren die Decken extrem dünn (eigentlich waren es Handtücher) und die Klimaanlage ist in der Nacht plötzlich sehr laut und extrem kalt geworden. Und man bekommt vom Hostel Handtücher aber die sind dreckig.

Unser Aufenthalt entsprach leider überhaupt nicht unseren Erwartungen. Das Zimmer war dreckig und machte keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Besonders störend war die feuchte Matratze. Sauberkeit sollte selbstverständlich sein, war hier aber nicht gegeben. Deshalb können wir das Hostel nicht empfehlen. Eine große Enttäuschung. Das Zimmer war sehr schmutzig und wirkte nicht gereinigt. Die Matratze war feucht – ein absolutes No-Go. Unter diesen Bedingungen fühlt man sich einfach nicht wohl.

Hostel qui ne correspond pas aux photos. Les chambres sont très sales. L’odeur des égouts est contante. Les sanitaires sont sales, puent et sont très très négligées.

When I arrived I was greeted by two girls very friendly. Talked me through the facilities perfectly. However, no lockers for valuables and people were knocking and letting anyone into the dorms. Then I put my head and hand on the pillow to realise the whole bed was damp including the blanket. Other girls had slept in the room on top wet beds the night before. Staff blamed air con. Offered to change bedding but I said I would like a refund. I booked Lub D Hostel and it was worth every penny.

The hostel itself is on really nice grounds with a beach resort & 2 swimming pools. Unfortunately, my room had a damp problem that wasn’t looked into until 4 days into my stay after multiple complaints. All my clothes were wet and my pillow / bed sheets were wet everyday. I ended up really ill in this accommodation and woke up with an eye infection due to the moisture on my pillow. After talking to other people, this was an issue across all rooms. I was only offered a new bed on my last night

The location is spot on, the actual hostel itself is pretty disgusting the room smelt of mould and the beds were damp, the showers and toilets are pretty dirty and they give you a towel to sleep with as apposed to a duvet.

It's a wonderful place with complete facilities.

The pictures don't do justice to the actual place; it's much more beautiful. I didn't expect a hostel to have such a stunning beach and restaurant.

I was very impressed with my stay, even though it was a short time. I didn't expect a hostel to have everything so well-equipped. There's ample parking, security guards, a private beach, beachfront restaurants, a bar, a swimming pool, etc.

Good locatoion accommdaton with sea view and room are large and clean .

Pretty good. The rooms are due for an update though. The wooden beams are falling apart. There’s no good social area. Hostels are often about socialising and meeting new people. Big thanks to Adi that helped find my phone. Oh and try not to get scammed at the beach bar.

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and provides good service. There are two swimming pools, one in front of the beach and another in the middle of the resort. The pictures are beautiful and the views are stunning, perfect for relaxation. It's located in the heart of the city, directly opposite Central shopping mall.

The atmosphere is good, the staff are friendly, close to the facilities, and it is also very clean.

A swimming pool you can use anytime without paying extra Even better. Perfect place to chill, meet people, and just enjoy your trip. Check-in was super easy, check-out was even easier — no stress at all. The staff made everything smooth and quick. The location is amazing, right in the center, so you can walk everywhere, find food, party, or just explore without any hassle. If you’re young, social, and looking for a fun place to stay — this is it. 100% would come back again!

The Best Hostel good location I ever had. 5 stars smiley service of staff. Room its and building its big more than other hostel before I was. I can shopping and drink places nearby everyday. Good attention for Samui Information. Ask for service with them please try. Its not same some bad review ever. Stay turned 100%, keep try :)

stayed here for the 2nd time, still think it’s worth it​ paid around 500 thb and you get 2 pools,beachfront,sauna&hot tub pretty good for the price tbh would recommend the 4bed dorm on the ground floor best option imo bathrooms are plenty so no waiting only downside is lockers are outside and limited just something to know for this price you really can’t complain honestly better than i expected 👍

The staff were excellent, always smiling and polite, and always greeting customers.I'll definitely come here on every trip.
