MEININGER Hotel Vienna Downtown Sissi

Rooms were in a poor state of repair with holes in the walls, missing skirting and paint on all walls. Damaged bathroom doors and cracked toilet! Hairdryer with wires exposed in bathroom and not useable. No fan coil and therefore very hot. Very poor facilities throughout!

Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Zimmer sowie Eingang und Lobby sehr einladend gepflegt! Alles mit Karte zu bezahlen, fand ich persönlich nicht so toll!! Ansonsten ein sehr schönes und ruhiges Hostel!! Würd auf jedenfall wieder buchen

Great hostel, great staff. When I made a mistake and booked two individual instead of two double rooms, the reception staff immediately solved it. Having said that, I had had to repeat the online booking with Hostelworld several times because data kept jumping: dates, number of guests, name, etc. But in the end, all was well because of the quick thinking of reception staff. Good beds, spacious, clean rooms, central location. We will come back.

I had a disappointing experience. It was incredibly hot, and to my surprise, the room didn't have AC (I have stayed in this chain of hotels in different countries and they all have ac). Opening the windows for relief wasn't a viable option either. The fan provided in the room was ineffective, more akin to a toy than a proper cooling device. Additionally, the cleanliness was subpar. We found blonde curly hairs on the pillows, which was unsettling given we have dark straight hair.

Great place to stay and was in a great location. They let us leave our car after we checked out so we could go explore some more. Only down part was we had two people, but the room was only prepared for one. Other than that it was overall a great experience! Staff was super friendly!

The only complaints that I have are that the place is cashless, so you have to use a credit card for all transactions and that no outside alcohol was allowed in the hotel. These really weren't that big of a deal. I would definitely stay again and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone including my closest friends.

The staff was welcoming and nice. The location is great: to reach the city center you can go by foot or take the public transport. The place is quiet. I recommand it!

Buona posizione, buoni servizi offerti, unico problema è stato il terzo letto ricavato da un divano, il materasso era sfondato in più parti ed il riposo non è stato del tutto soddisfacente, per il resto come ho valutato è stato tutto piacevole

Für mich war das Meininger-Hotel in Wien optimal: Das Personal war zuvorkommend, die Betten gut, der Raum gut ausgestattet und das Frühstück sehr gut.
