Super Atmosphäre
I was travelling for over 13 months and this hostel is really one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. Great staff, good location and a beautiful rooftop where you can spend a lot of time. Thank you for the great time!
What a positive and fun experience this was. The space was chill and dynamic. If puerto wasn’t as fun as it was I could hangout at the hostel all day. The staff was a joy. Dianna, Isabella, ivy, and Luka, you guys all made my trip memorable, thank you!
Todo el lugar es bastante tranquilo y bien ambientado, para todo tipo de viajero, desde el más viajero hasta el primerizo. En general su personal es muy agradable y cálido. Me encantaron las dinámicas, es una buena oportunidad para poder conectar con otros viajeros y hacer buenas amistades. Sin duda recomendaré el lugar y volveré. All the hostel is very good place for any kind of traveler, even if it’s your first trip.
Dear traveller, my experience in the hostel was amazing. The volunteers were nice and welcoming. I wish there were more bathrooms, bigger lockers and ac. There are many places to socialize - big table in the kitchen and a tv room. There are many fun activities like sunset picnick and salsa night by Diana was really cool. 🌮🏄🏼♂️🐢

We had a really nice day in this hostel. The staff was very nice, helpful and welcoming. Many activities were offered and we enjoyed nice moments with the staff members and other guests. This hostel offers high-quality coffee and very good bar service (Shout out to Francesco!) This is in our opinion one of the best hostel we have stayed at , definitely would recommend.
Heel fijn geslapen in hartje centrum van Puerto Escondido. Vanaf minuut een heel warm ontvangen door Diana en Isabella!
I loved my stay in La Escondida! The place was very clean and chill. They have a lot of events throughout the week which helps with socializing. Diana was very helpful with check-in and throughout my stay! Karina helped me with my check-out and made sure everything went smoothly.
Me gustó el hostel, el precio me pareció bien y los baños compartidos siempre estaban muy limpios, así como las regaderas. El personal de limpieza es lo mejor que hay en este hostel, son muy trabajadoras y siempre tienen todo impecable - muchas gracias Dalia por tu arduo esfuerzo. Had a lovely stay! When I arrived Ivi gave me a tour of the place and they had a locked luggage room to store my bags until checkin time. Katie was also very helpful with checkout and reccomendations! - Close to food options and a market - Kitchen with everything needed to make your own food - Nice common areas have shade, breeze and places to sit and relax - Chill but social vibe with activities such as kareoke night and beer tasting - 20min walk to the beach for swimming and beginner surfing

La Escondida is an absolute gem! The dorm and bathroom were spotless, with impeccable cleanliness. The kitchen is very well-equipped, perfect for cooking with fresh produce from the local market just steps away. A special mention for their little café inside the hostel: I had the best coffee I’ve tasted in Mexico there. They are absolute sweethearts, a great friend, and nothing less than a fun time…they truly made my stay at Puerto Dreams absolutely amazing and with memories I will never forget. Super cute place to hang and chill. Loved the roof area with hammocks and sofa. Kitchen was missing some basics and floor, sofas could have needed a good cleaning. My room was fine but also not the newest nor cleanest bathroom & walls. Would recommend anyway :)
El lugar me pareció muy pequeño. La cocina se llena con una persona y se hace difícil compartir fuegos. Los dormitorios lo mejor por su espacio entre literas. No volvería repetir.
Buen lugar, muy cerca de todos los servicios y las playas más populares. La mayoría son personas extranjeras entonces casi no se hacen amigos de otros estados de México.
Ok place , the vibe wasn’t really good maybe because the place is too big , they charge for the activities and extra wifi , also bit far from the beaches or places to hangout.
I mean it’s good but I really expected much more traveler’s atmosphere. The staff are made by volunteers:) it’s nice but not really a lot going on. Also, because it’s in the upper side of the center, during the night everything is closed. Anyway it’s okay just to stay for a while.
lovely hostel! the staff was very kind, welcoming, fun and helpful and there was a lot of fun activities aswell as a great atmosphere. the only problem was that there were no air conditioning although it said so when booking, but the staff, the rooftop area and nearby beach weight op for that, and we loved it
