Metro Inns Newcastle

Not bad for the rate.

The property gets the job done as far as giving us a place to sleep and shower, but definitely would not go back if we were to visit Newcastle again. It is pretty out of the way from Tynemouth and City Centre so it was not super convenient. The night we got there, the staff was very friendly and we had no issues with them at all- but the first night there was maintenance working until 2:30 in the morning, and the showers did not run. The rest of our stay went smooth.

I would say for a hotel along the highway is fine but in their description they said something about 10 min away from the city centre (I thought by walk) and that they were in the hub of Newcastle's nightlife. This was definitely not true. The hotel itself was really good though nothing to comment on that
