Hostal Estrella Del Lago

The hostel is located in the centre of Copacabana and from the room, we had a great view of Titicaca Lake. When we arrived, there were no one in the reception so we had to call them and wait for them to come. Once there was no water in the bathroom, but we texted the reception about it and they fixed it right away. When we wanted to check out there was no one in the reception and therefore we just ledt the key in the reception and left.

Good location and staff were very friendly Breakfast was simple but good The hostel was so cold, we got a little heater but it didn't make much difference. The shower was cold too. There didn't seem to be any staff around at the desk The beds and pillows were very firm and uncomfortable

Wir hatten einen sehr guten Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut (es gab immer frischen Orangensaft, Heißgetränk, Toast, Eier, Marmelade, etc.). Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war ein Late Check-out nicht möglich, aber wir konnten unsere Taschen sicher im Hostel verstauen.

Modest and clean hostel with private bath. Value for money is incredible and the owner is very gentle. Nice view from the window. Copacabana can be cold but you have heater in the room provided.

We had such a lovely stay here - the staff are warm and welcoming and let us leave our bags to visit Isla del Sol. The breakfast was great and the rooftop patio was so nice to chill out on. Owner is so accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay again! Amazing location too close to bus stop and port

Super Hostel! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig aber dennoch zentral. Ausblick vom Zimmer und der Dachterrasse wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Der Preis unschlagbar. Vielen Dank für alles :)

We stayed at Estrella del Lago for 4 nights and had a very nice and pleasant stay for a very decent price. Our room with a perfect view on the lake was amazing. Clean and comfortable as well. There is a little kitchen with everything necessary and hot showers. :) The people working at the hostel where very nice and kind. Helping with all information we needed and really caring for us having a good stay. Even a little breakfast is included. Definitely a recommendation for a stay in Copacabana.

Good property, very clean, nice staff Shower wasn’t the warmest

Auberge bien placée, petit dej simple mais efficace. Petit bémol : on a eu une chambre avec deux lits et une sdb sans fenêtre. Pas bien grave pour une nuit mais un peu bof. Le personnel était à notre écoute pour répondre à nos questions et nous aider, aucun souci la dessus. Je recommande pour une escale de courte durée, si l’ambiance auberge ne vous intéresse pas (car pas du tout présente).

The place is not a proper hostel, but there are not hotels in the area of copacabana anyway. For the price the place is ok. Location is good, breakfast very simple but nice. My room was spacious, but on the third floor was quite hard with altitude. I didn't enjoy much the shower as was not really hot. The room can be a little bit noisy when people is passing outside. The staff is super gentile and nice, they try to make you feel home.

Le monsieur qui nous accueille est très gentil mais les chambre ne sont pas ouf et les lits sont vieux. En revanche l’hostel est très bien placé à 6 min de la gare routière et à 5 min du frond de mer à pied.

When we arrived we had to wait 10 min. before anyone came to greet us, but after that, the people were very nice. Clean rooms with a view. Cheap. However we were the only ones there. The breakfast was nice. Would stay here for a quiet chill night.

Super Lage, Zimmer mit Seeblick, leckeres Frühstück und super lieber Besitzer! Wer Zeit hat sollte die Liegestühle auf der Dachterrasse nutzen. Und das Hostel hat eine Küche - nicht viel Platz zum Sitzen, aber akzeptabel gut ausgestattet. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen.

Really good value room with breakfast right next to the lake. The owner was very kind and offered us a heater for the room when we were cold! Nice views from the room too!
