Riverside Hamlet Hoi An Homestay & Villas

+ Es ist ein Homestay, sehr familiär und extrem nette und aufmerksame Besitzer. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig (das haben wir auch gesucht) und dennoch waren wir mit den Fahrrädern in 15min in der Altstadt. Frühstück gab es immer ‚just in Time‘ zubereitet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 2. Etage mit Balkon.

+ Kiet and family were very kind and lovely people. This place is cosey with nice little pool. Food is good, bed comfy overall highly recommend.

- Not a problem as we knew before staying, but is some distance from old town. Sometimes hard to get grab car, always managed though. Grab bikes easier and more responsive.

+ Lovely quiet property on cam nam island with genuinely welcoming hosts who were very responsive and happy to help with any requests no matter how small. Bicycles available to easily reach Hoi An through back roads. Relaxing retreat after the noise and bustle of town and delicious breakfast each morning.

+ Kiêt’s family is dedicated to giving their guests the best, most peaceful experience. All guests were invited to a fine family meal, free of charge, the evening we arrived. Kiêt’s kind older sister is in charge of breakfasts. Coffee is instant, otherwise it’s all good. When a Grab car cancelled for a trip to a restaurant, Kiet generously drove us in his own car. The quiet river island location (small town to small holdings) was well outside overcrowded Hoi An. That suited us perfectly. We arranged a Grab driver to Hoi An city centre, a brief visit at 0630 on Sunday, when there were people but no crowds. There are bicycles to use, free of charge. One of our Sunday strolls took us past the tipsy conclusion of a wedding celebration. We were warmly invited to join in beer and karaoke.

- Kiêt’s airport driver was unavailable: a friend of a friend drove. He was 15 minutes late, then drove to the centre of Hoi An, left us several minutes to pick up someone’s tailoring parcel. His tiny Hyundai i10 ‘Grand’ sedan 92A 082 58 was a Grab car. I have driven in 11 countries. This man’s reckless speeding & cutting in particularly endangered motorcyclists. When he drove holding or fiddling with his phone in left hand, while changing gear with right hand, zero hands were on the steering wheel. Yes, we got to the boarding gate at Da Nang airport exactly at boarding time, but our stressful experience was opposite to Kiêt’s tranquil homestay. Kiet apologised; he acted in good faith. I hope nobody else has similar experience

+ Kiet, der Besitzer ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Homestay lebt von ihm.

+ We liked everything about Riverside Hamlet Homestay. The staff were so welcoming. The location is fabulous - away from the madding tourist crowds! :-). Breakfast each day was a delight. And they even invite all their guests to a home cooked banquet once a week - so it’s worth being there even just for that!

+ The hosts are wonderfully kind and considerate. We stayed in a large room with two very big beds, we only needed one, which gave us 2 good nights sleep. We had a wonderful surprise on the first night,being invited to a family meal.

- Our shower area was ready for some attention.

+ Moc krásné ubytování, pohodlná postel a hezký výhled z balkonů. Moc jsme si užili, že bylo ubytování na klidném místě u řeky, celá rodina byla velmi příjemná a nápomocná.

+ Vielen Dank an Kiet und seine Familie. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Alle sind sehr aufmerksam. Kiet hat sehr viel für uns organisiert. Jeden Tag konnten wir den Zimmerservice nutzen falls wir es gewünscht hätten und wir haben Wasser erhalten sowie ein leckeres Frühstück. Am Abreisetag haben wir sogar unser Frühstück to go bekommen. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig auf einer Insel und mit Fahrrad oder zu Fuß ist alles relativ schnell zu erreichen.
