+ This place is perfect for a romantic weekend/stay. EVERYTHING is fully stocked: kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc. The bed and linen are very comfortable. The lights and sound system are great. Big spacious shower with lots of hot water. Wonderful sun patio to read or take coffee. Neighborhood is safe and close to many restaurants and shops. This place is better than the photos!

+ O Joshua foi muito atencioso conosco, nos recebeu no imóvel e nos mostrou todas as comodidades e facilidades do imóvel. O imóvel é lindo como nas fotos, tudo de muito bom gosto. O predio aonde o mesmo se encontra, é todo moderno e lindo, portaria remota, com cadastro facial rapido, facilitando a entrada no imóvel. Gostamos de tudo no imóvel, desde os amenities oferecidos pelo proprietario, como o otimo chuveiro, otima wifi, e conforto dos móveis. Recomendo MUITO.

+ OBO is a great place, modern building, top amenities and decoration.

- Somehow during this trip the area was dark and deserted in the evenings. Since there is no security or portier outside it feels a bit unsafe when arriving in the evenings. I feel I need to share for female solo travellers to be aware of but no reason to not book OBO. The building is very safe!

+ Magnifique appartement, moderne et très confortable. Tout était parfait !

+ The location was good and the apartment looked great if a little over done with tech. The bed was very comfertable. The roof top pool was good for unwinding at the end of the day.

- There was no one at reception when we arrived. We were let in the building by someone who lived there. The receptionist was not in that day. When another person arrived she did show the apartment and discuss some of the aspects. The cupboards and fridge contained opened and use jars and containers. The pan scrub was filthily. The drawers and cupboards were used for the owners own products leaving little or no room for storage. There was only one hand and 1 bath towel each for the week. The washing machine on the ground floor was constantly in use.The robot vac was useless and no brush to sweep floor.

+ This studio is beautifully designed with a Brazilian vibe, stuffed with supplies and equipment to allow a home-away-from-home feel to the holiday. The conservatory-like living/dining area also opened up the space and allowed natural light into a space which would have otherwise been quite boxed in. The face-recognition system of entry and exit made the accommodation feel very secure, although we never felt unsafe in this area packed with lively bars and restaurants. The host was most responsive when organising our entry into the building at the crack of dawn so we could leave our luggage securely at reception before check-in. The rooftop plunge pool was also a nice space, although we never used it with the beach just a few minutes away.

- For guests staying a little longer, there might be a lack of clothes hanging space, plus the main storage were drawers under the bed which proved a little awkward for taking out clothes (other more reachable drawers were filled with extra supplies). Surprisingly, there was no washing liquid/tablets provided for laundry, but we did not need to use the washing machines behind the reception in this instance.

+ Words can hardly describe it! Most detailed and thoughtful “Airbnb” I have stayed in. Good location, great building, well equipped and super clean! And the decoration is nicer in real life, very tasteful!

+ Perfect location and spacious apartment! It has everything you could possibly need and great for working remotely. High speed internet! The wifi was fast and I had no issues with connection. This was important as I had to login to my work VPN which tends to be slow with bad internet connections (not a problem here)! We arrived early and owner was incredibly accommodating as we were able to take a quick nap in the comfortable waiting area of the lobby until the room was ready. We were two female travelers and felt perfectly safe in the apartment and the neighborhood. If you’re debating between Copacabana and Ipanema, I strongly recommend Ipanema (and this apartment specifically). It’s a more upscale local and safe location. Copacabana is very touristy, so staying here gives you the benefit of escaping the bombardment of tourists while still being in walking distance to Copacabana.
