Moon Hostel Gdansk

Very friendly staff, excellent location, early check out no problem, great for a 3-4 day visit. The beds however could be improved, bedframes a little loose and not super clean. Obviously for 15€ a night in a singles room (got a 4 bed with bathroom alone) and the given location, this was very acceptable.

Do the cleaners really have to talk so loud with each other at 8am ? People paid to sleep, right !? 😂😂 Apart from that, all good !!

All was absolutely great except that I could not open the entrance door when I got back in the evening. Luckily someone came to open the door for me and I did not have to spend the night outside!

A very nice hostel. With a large kitchen and communal area. The bathrooms were clean and tidy- the only issue was the fact that the shower heads swung around while the water was running. The only other issue we ran into was the fact that the WiFi did not work in our room- we were on the top floor of the building- so it did not reach the whole way. But all in all it was a lovely hostel in a great location.

I stayed 4 nights. The first two were excellent—comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. But on the third night, two large school groups arrived, making it impossible to sleep. They shouted, slammed doors, blasted music late, threw things out of windows, and shone laser lights into guests’ eyes. The hostel should separate school groups from other guests to prevent such disturbances.

The Moon Hostel was interesting. 60+ steps to get to my room. One way. Interesting. The hostel was very clean. Close to the Citi center. About a 30 minute walk to the train station. Upon arrival, the person at the front desk did not offer much. I had to ask many questions and even then, I'm not sure she understood everything. I received vague answers that will not so useful. The second staff member was much more helpful. It would have been nice to have a map!

Super conveniently located right on the river and near the city center - not even a 5 minute walk to Long Market. Friendly staff, very clean, and generally quiet (I went in the middle of November so probably different during summer/tourist season). Basic bed but comfortable. Option for breakfast the next day if you ask the night before (just do it before 8 PM). Overall I really enjoyed my stay. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Excellent hostel in best area of Gdansk, also next to the tram stop to the beach

My private single room was basic but had everything that I needed, for a good price. The bathrooms also provided privacy and had no faults! The location was perfect for exploring the town and river parts of Gdańsk. I mainly felt safe there as a solo traveller but there were some noise issues at night. Also quite difficult to check in and find my room with no member of staff there when I arrived.

The location is great and it does have a full kitchen, but the staff is not helpful at all and they advertise that they have laundry but they DO NOT! If you need to do laundry there is a laundromat called MyLaundry within walking distance. The rooms have a tv, and the bathrooms are pretty clean. There are 2 grocery stores very close as well. The Christmas market is literally across the street. This place is about a 5 minute walk from the Neptune statue.

The hostel is in a very nice area, literally a few minutes from most attractions in Gdańsk. However, some guests returned at around 4 in the morning and were very loud for a few hours.

Great location,, super clean, communal area could be made abit bigger no where to chill out in the evening, there was a small area but it's full with one family most nights. Male staff member abit over friendly for my liking 😳 Good value for a nice warm room.

Great location, we booked a double room for 2 people and were given 2 bunks. Not ideal but with how little time we spent in the hostel it wasn't much of an issue. Rooms are fine and good facilities.

In my opinion -- and compared to other hostels I've stayed during my trip through Poland -- this hostel was much too expensive. Moreover, my room didn't even have a window, which was quite annoying in the middle of August.
