Staff was really helpful, they do make you feel comfortable
I would like to share a small concern from my stay. I experienced some mosquitoes in my room during the night, which was a bit uncomfortable. That said, I really appreciate how your reception team handled it. They quickly arranged fumigation and kindly offered mosquito repellent, also explaining that this can happen due to the rainy conditions and the jungle surroundings, which I completely understand. Thank you for your prompt response and great service. Keep up the good work!!!
The Hostel is nice, but it’s just tooo big to be social. The food is not good and the place is too far from everything to just grab food somewhere else. I got the worst food poising in this viajero in my whole 4 months of traveling in Latin America. My dorm was FULL of mosquitos, they didn’t have mosquito nets. They don’t have enough sunbeds for that amount of guests. The music at the pool is very noisy the whole day. Would recommend it.
Lovely hostel but very resort vibes! It’s not really a backpacking spot at all and wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers it was more local tourists in groups etc, they also blast music til 2am making it difficult to sleep at all, I also got up for a Pilates class advertised that wasn’t on. Can be pricey too! But lovely if you want to just chill on the beach for a while
Really nice Hostel the energy and people always super nice
Only complaint is that there is no stores nearby to walk to if you need anything. Everything else was perfect.
Great hostel on the beach. Very nice pool. Could do with more to prevent bites as got eaten alive in the rooms
The location is beautiful and it has a private beach which is great to relax on. Diego was helpful at reception, and the staff were good. My only issue is that I would rather they didn’t blast music so loud, as is always my issue with the Viajero’s, as it is too loud to talk to each other and stops you sleeping. You can still play music at a more sociable level and it wouldn’t push everyone to go sit elsewhere!!
Nice dorm, they cleaned it daily. The hostel was great, only one thing was very anoying; every day starting from 1pm they started to play super loud raeggeton music at the pool, it was also very loud in the dorm.
Money was stolen from my purse in the dorm and the way staff handled it was extremely poor. I was repeatedly told cameras were being checked but never received any update. Staff contradicted themselves several times and even denied speaking with me before. I said I felt unsafe and asked to move rooms but this was refused. No refund or support was offered. Messages on WhatsApp were ignored and the manager never contacted me as promised. Very disappointing experience. Longer review on Google.
Great Location. Staff is very friendly and helpful but apparently not properly trained/instructed: Orders take forever, items are forgotten. Food is okay but below viajero average. Coffee is bad. Would come back though, overall very good
This property is crazy huge, it’s like a resort.Unfortunately no kitchen like other Viajeros. My main gripe is that there’s a long road to walk to the hostel from the main drop off point and you have to pay for a moto if you don’t want to walk it, and then another long walk to the room you’re staying at. There should really be a better way to transport all your bags instead of just lugging them everywhere since the property is so large
Amazing place!! A lot of places to hang out, bunch of activities to spend the evening and delicious food in the restaurant! We love the facilities and rooms!
Rude staff (at the reception), not welcoming and helpful. Too bad, for a place this beautiful. They lost my laundry and said that I was lying when I said that I dropped it the day before + they lost the bag it was in it. Mounir was really nice tho, thank you for your good energy 🫶🏽
Great location! the hostel has a really nice pool and beach which are the highlights. There is no kitchen but there is an overpriced Restaraunt, the breakfasts are solid and affordable. The main downsides of this hostel are how unprofessional it is, our 10 person dorm ran out of toilet paper constantly, the shower was broken and held together by rope, and the hostel constantly ran out of drinking water which is very concerning especially because the staff didn’t seem to care. Needs maintenance
The pool was nice and the dorm was okay. There’s no kitchen so you’re completely dependent on the restaurant. The food is overpriced and portions are small. They don’t really cater to specific allergies or diets. My whole dorm was up all night to kill mosquitoes because they don’t provide mosquito nets. The national park closed down because of unrest when I was there but the hostel didn’t communicate about it at all. I left early.
