Absolutely loved this place! It's as if you step into a small rainforest, you hear birds, geckos, tree frogs, etc. Haven't seen anything like this on Antigua. Sonja is wonderful and knows the good places to visit. She also rents out cars, but bus 61 drives by her place too. The cottages have all amenities. The place has the vibe of a boutique hostel: it's easy to meet other guests, and you can retreat to your own place if needed. If you're up for it, ask her about karaokeplaces,it's a lot of fun:)
Beautiful, pink cottages . I love 💘.
Sunny has been a great host to me. Always helping, getting back to me with quick answers, smiling, thank you so much for everything ! I had the best time here
We stayed as a couple for one night at Pink Shack studio and it was very comfy, & tranquil . Sonja is very accommodating and pleasant.. Would certainly stay again
We spent gorgeous 10 days at pinkshack. Sonja is just a wonderful person, always ready to help out. Jeep's are available and a MUST to discover all the hidden gems on antigua. We will be back!! Ty sonja
Sonia is a very helpful host. We stayed in a small house with a private garden. There are no views but you are in the jungle. The house is clean and the bathroom is of a very high standard. Sonia took us to beautiful beaches and treated us to beer when we didn't have a car yet. Close to Saint John's (3 min by car) and close to beautiful beaches around but it is worth having a car. Sonia will also help you with renting a jeep. Lot of dogs in the garden so you should be animal lover) K...
Only problem is the location if you don't have a car.
I would come again and recommend it. My stay at the Pink Shack was great! I had the standard double, which is nice and small with everything I needed including a clean private bathroom. It was a great “jungle” experience being surrounded by exotic trees with all different kinds of fruit. The host Sonja is very welcoming and helpful, which made the stay even better. Renting a Jeep from her is a must to get around as the island is small, and a car is great to explore. Also liked the many d...
Upon arrival I was told that I was too early for checking in and my room was not ready. Bearing in mind I am heavily pregnant my host did not show no form of compassion for my situation so I had to seek alternative accommodation. After I pointed out that when I checked online it shows I can check in by 3pm my host insisted I was too early and I was already exhausted after a long flight so any information online needs to be updated as the lady states.
Brilliant first stop in Antigua. So relaxing. Simple , but well equipped cottages. It’s not a walk from town -but the number 61 bus runs from the market and costs only about a dollar and takes ~ 10 minutes. There are lots of beautiful beaches close by and we frequented the little bar- gigi about 400m away- cold beer for 5 ECD and crisps and a magnificent view over the bay of the cruise ships pulling out at sunset. Sonia is a great host- and goes above and beyond to help her guests.
Perfect little place to feel in the jungle. You can rent a jeep to move freely in the whole country. Sonja becomes a real friend and she's really helpful and welcoming. Don't go there if you don't like dogs!
Beautiful cottages, so quirky and colourful with the most comprehensive kitchens we have ever seen! We were travelling on public transport and were not aware that there was no supermarket or ATM nearby (payment in cash was requested) so that wasn’t the most convenient as everything is back in St Johns. We walked to Deep Bay (the long was as the Royalton has blocked off the nearest road) and to Yelpton Beach, which were beautiful. Fine if you have a car, but otherwise nothing near!
