The room was absolutely filthy! Hairs in the shower and on the bed, bedsheets were clean but hairs were not picked off after they been washed. A large amount of mould growing on the bathroom ceiling, thick layer of dust on the top of the curtains and beams. If you have dust allergy you will be sneezing non stop. Staff was very friendly and helpful and location is good, close to plaza de armas.
I stayed here my first time in Cusco and another time. Not only is the location perfect, the staff are super welcoming and try to help with everything. I had to leave some of my stuff in Cusco because I was headed off to the Salkantay Trek and they so willingly safeguarded it for me. I needed to get laundry done and they got it done the same day for me. The place is beautiful and well kept. Great atmosphere. Thank you!!!
Good value if you stay in private but not dorm. The kitchen was disgusting and the staf did not clean it. The breakfast was only a sandwich, banana and coffee.
Casa Suecia disappointed us slightly… When we arrived we were given a room that had a 10 cm gap above the door allowing for freezing air to come in. To be completely honest, the hostel owners did help us by being flexible and letting us move to another room. However, in every other respect they were quite unhelpful especially with information regarding tours etc. Also, it’s advertised that there is 24 hour security but every night we’d been there no one was in the hostel past 10pm. I think...
We stayed at Casa Suecia for about 1.5 weeks. The location is perfect, only 1 minute from the main place. Sadly, the internet is extremly unstable and the showers are quite unsatisfying. We had the feeling that the owners tried to rip us off.
Best hostel/hotel I have stayed at Cusco. Perfect if you want some rest. The location is great and specially Rosa is really nice and welcoming. The rooms are a bit cold but the blankets are nice and warm. Having a guarantee hot shower is great as well.
Location, views and staff were all amazing. Only criticism is the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the rooms.
Great hostel, amazing location near the plaza de arma, hot water in the showers, lovely staff. Cute dog named Dali plays with you. Good value for price!
