Todo perfecto! Coco es muy amable y disponible, mi habitación era grande y muy limpia. Recomiendo al 100%
Had my own room, plenty of space, hot shower and lovely hosts. Would recommend, just a short walk from the main square in Cusco and nicely out of the way.
Lovely Hosts! Felt like coming home. We had such a warm welcome. The Rooms are big, the showers are hot and the breakfast was tasty! Would recommend :)
I highly recommend El Tuco ! The hosts will make you feel right at home ! The rooms are big and cozy and you'll have plenty of hot water, which is particularly nice during the cold winter in Cusco ! Thank you Coco and Anna for being the nicest hosts I met so far, you're my family in Cusco ! 🥰
Very nice, familiar hostel! The staff is very kind and helpful! Coco also makes great Pisco Sour at his bar next to the hostel :-) Would defenetly come back!
I enjoyed my stay here and the hosts were very accommodating with my arrival time and allowing me to safely store my bag after my stay while I waited for my flight. I would recommend staying here and would return the next time I am in Cusco.
Loved my stay here! Family run hostel, about a 10 minute walk to the historic centre. I was really anxious about the altitude and the owner did the most amazing thing. He didn’t tell me not to worry, instead he sat me down and we talked over the physiological process, he gave me some really useful tips which took away my worries instantly. They were incredibly helpful during my stay. I was craving a calm place to gently get used to the altitude and I didn’t want loud parties. Shower is amazi...
The best hostel I have ever stayed in. The hosts are very friendly and informative. They provided very helpful tips for adjusting to the altidude at Cusco and for traveling in the area.
Stayed here for a few days before traveling to Machu Picchu. Although not the closest hostel to the main tourist areas, it is definitely within walking distance. The place was clean and had a comfortable bed. There is a small garage big enough for e few motorcycles. I was traveling by motorcycle so this was very helpful. I liked the fact that the building seemed to retain heat during the night so it had a much more pleasant temperature overnight than most of the hostels i have dtayed at in Peru.
it is an acquired taste
The owners were outstanding in most ways. But there is no way this is close to a 9.2. I loved how they were very flexible with checkout when we overslept. But I was shocked that we had to pay for towel rentals when we were renting a private room. My wife and I travel internationally a LOT (30 countries in the last 3 years) and always reserve a private room with en-suite bathroom and towels are always included. Also- cash only. Never had this either. Couldn’t find a good restaurant nearby...
I felt very comfortable in my room. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. I really enjoyed staying here, and when I will visit Cusco the next time, this hostel will be my choice.
Very friendly and caring family. Lots of help and advice. Nearby city centre
I enjoyed my stay here, gave me some time to recouperate from travels and hiking. It is very quiet with good hot water and great value for money. On some level it felt like a homestay rather than a hostel. I really disliked not being able to let myself in and out of the property, it felt like having overbearing parents who can't trust you with the keys for the house. I felt uncomfortable to wake up the owner to get out when doing early tours and annoyed to wait outside for someone to let me ...
I really enjoyed my stay here. Very friendly owners, good location (the real Cusco but also very close to the city centre), very beautiful house and the showers were 10/10!
I had amazing stay at El Tuco Hostel. I was able to chill after Salkantay Trek and leave my things for 5 days during the Trek. Coco & his wife were super friendly. It's amazing stay if you are looking for chill stay.
Cheap option for a private room to rest and a hot shower. Outside of the historical town, a long walk to get to anything. Owners are nice, but many added costs for breakfast, towels, etc. Better options in the main town for a price not much more than this.
Nice Hostel and the host 'Coco' is really friendly and helps with every issue you have. Just ask him!
El Tuco is the place to go to recharge. The private rooms are comfortable and very clean. You will be wonderfully welcomed by the owners, who have many tips about Cusco and tours from Cusco. The shared kitchen is well equipped and a good place to socialise. The road can be a little noisy but nothing that isn't sorted with earplugs. There are supermarkets and nice restaurants within a 5min walk, and it's just a 10min walk to the central Plaza de Armas. We stayed for 6 days and loved it!
