De Hue

+ This place is among the most beautiful places me and my boyfriend have ever stayed. The attention to artistic and architectual details was mindblowing. The craftwork and design that have been put down is extremely impressive. The room was incredibly comfortable and calm, and the community space was perfect for enjoying homemade breakfasts, delicious coffee and reading. The staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. They were all so good at recommending high quality and local places to eat and experience art and craft. De Hue is a memorable place and we cannot wait to return.

+ Cuong the staff, is great to talk with. The architecture of the hotel is original. The breakfast was simple but very good. If you want you can use the fridge and cook. You can rest in lounge.

+ Dé hue is niet te missen voor liefhebbers van architectuur en design. Het gebouw is een erg geslaagde moderne interpretatie van Vietnamese architectuur. Héél aangenaam om te verblijven en een leuke afwisseling met de traditionele vormgeving. Het onthaal is correct, de kamers zijn perfect onderhouden. Goede bedden, goede badkamer, lekker ontbijt.

- De ligging is iets minder centraal. Wel goed te bereiken met Grab.

+ From the moment we booked, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They provided detailed information in advance and even arranged airport pickup and early check-in for us. We received a warm welcome, with a thoughtful introduction to the homestay and its stories. Our room was cozy and tastefully decorated with traditional Hue touches. I especially loved the Hue-themed book and the local treats like "banh in"—perfect with coffee. We stayed in the Vy Da room near the garden, which offered peace and privacy. Mornings with birdsong and greenery were truly relaxing. They also helped arrange our transfer to Hoi An, which made our trip much easier.

+ The homestay has two garden areas—one at the front and one at the back—both of which are spacious and filled with greenery. Sitting here in the morning, enjoying the scenery while sipping a cup of coffee, is truly relaxing. If you love nature and tranquility, you will definitely fall in love with this place. Additionally, the laundry service here is quick, clean, and reasonably priced, making it very convenient for guests who stay longer. If you plan to visit, consider coming during the Thanh Tra season—a time when you can experience this local specialty fruit. It’s not only delicious but also comes with various activities that allow you to enjoy the unique flavors and culture of the region.

+ Since I didn't want to take a taxi, I used the airport shuttle service provided by the homestay. The car was clean, the driver was polite and punctual. Additionally, the homestay offers motorbike rentals, including both manual and automatic bikes, at reasonable prices — very convenient for exploring Hue. The homestay also helps arrange cultural experience tours and organized explorations of Hue. Thanks to this, I had a very interesting trip — not only visiting famous landmarks but also hearing many fascinating stories about Hue’s culture. A big plus of the homestay is the shared common room, which is perfect for doing yoga, watching movies, or holding small group meetings. I had a lovely evening there, watching a movie with others in a cozy atmosphere.

+ Comme attendu, les chambres sont jolies et l’architecture du lieu est sympa On peut emprunter un vélo gratuitement tous les jours et c’est très pratique pour visiter Hué sans dépendre de taxis. Contrairement à la plupart des homestays au Vietnam, les vélos étaient de bonne qualité.

- J’ai eu un peu de mal avec l’ambiance du lieu, le propriétaire qui ne met pas trop à l’aise, semble déçu que je m’intéresse pas beaucoup au lieu. D’autres commentaires indiquaient qu’on ne pouvait pas ramener à manger dans les chambres, et le propriétaire semblait surveiller. La climatisation ne fonctionne pas bien dans les chambres, il y faisait vraiment très chaud. Quand il fait 35 degrés, les nuits sont compliquées. Enfin, l’hôtel est très loin du centre de Hué. Pour le prix et la déco, ça peut être un bon compromis, comme le vélo est à disposition. Mais n’ayant pas trop aimé l’hôtel, j’aurais plutôt recommandé de se rapprocher du centre.

The hosts and staff were thoughtful, providing a delicious breakfast and helpful local tips. A perfect spot for anyone visiting Hue!

+ We loved our stay, such a pity it was only one night! I loved the architecture and the design! The staff was do friendly. We had amazing breakfast. The room is very comfortable and we rested well after a long trip. It’s a little far away from the centre but easy access with a taxi ride. We wanderer around the neighbourhood and it was so lovely as well :)

I especially loved the breakfast with banh nam, bun bo Hue—authentic and absolutely delicious. The garden space is spacious and airy, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always willing to help, providing enthusiastic support from check-in to check-out. Although it is not mentioned in the room description, you can ask Huyen, one of the staff members, to cook lunch or dinner. She is an amazing cook, and we truly enjoyed the meals she prepared!

+ Although the location is not central, a newly built bridge nearby now makes it much more convenient to visit tourist attractions. Thanks to this, getting around is easier while still allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that sets this place apart from the city's hustle and bustle. The sound of insects and the surrounding nature create an extremely pleasant ambiance. Nhan and Huyen are amazing staff members—always friendly and ready to chat, making guests feel right at home. Their warm hospitality made our stay more memorable than ever. Near the homestay, there is also a small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of visiting a loved one’s home. The food there is delicious and offers a wonderful experience. Additionally, if you have a long stay at the homestay, the rooms will be cleaned upon request, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy heartfelt hospitality, this is definitely the perfect choice!

+ Lendroit était calme et paisible la nuit, tout en étant suffisamment proche pour explorer facilement la ville en moto. La chambre était confortable, joliment décorée et on s'y sentait comme à la maison. L'hôte et le personnel étaient d'une gentillesse incroyable, proposant de délicieux petits-déjeuners et d'excellents conseils locaux qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.
