Hostal Finca Cardonales

Very nice and clean place, well suited for families or people who like it a bit more quiet. It is more of a B&B than a hostel. The owners are very friendly. The only access is via an unpaved gravel road that leads steeply uphill.

Wonderful hostel beyond town but walkable. Beautiful gardens, comfortable place. Excellent hot water & breakfast.

The view is amazing! Actually next to the mirador of Salento. Very quiet and offers a nice terrace and a private terrace next to your room. We stayed here 4 nights, with a 3 day hike in between and we could safely store our backpacks at the hostal. The owners were very friendly and the ‘natural’ breakfast option was delicious. Mind that the way to the hostal is very steep, so if you have walking difficulties it may be better to consider something else.
