Smelly, no vibes.
Me and my wife enjoyed our stay here. Super close to great restaurants and night life. We walked to the club in less than 10 minutes. Parking can be a bit difficult on weekends but there are a good amount of parking lots a few blocks over.
Central location and definitely a good value for money, especially if you're a single traveler looking for a cheap single room in downtown San Diego.
It’s smelled. And there were bed bugs. I was itching for 3 weeks. And staff accused me of bringing them lol as if I even look like the type of person who’d have bed bugs crawling on him after coming home from work that day. It also smells. Management wouldn’t offer a refund and would rather take an L on the reviews. Definitely would not recommend
Very basic hotel in great location. Is old hotel with dated rooms and quite warn out. However, it is clean and relatively quiet (aircon is noisy). Water pressure is low.
Great Location, kind staff, Good option for saving money
Good location, many flies
The hotel is amazing. Marta, at management, is a great person too. It was comfortable and I felt safe during my stay. Note that my accommodation was a private room with private bath.
It is an older hotel (1910) and has it's kinda funky, but the location and the price are amazing.
Location:excellent. Price: quite good for the area, but the hotel needs a renovation. Bed is old and/or cheap -> hard and creaky. Water pressure in my second floor room was poor and the shower was somewhere between lukewarm and warm. Some rooms like mine and the adjoining lack view beyond a brick wall. During my stay I heard the sheriff having to evict another tenant. I think the saving grace making this worth considering is the staff. Overall, you get what you pay for: a passable hotel.
バスルーム付きの部屋。 電気ケトル、冷蔵庫、ヘアドライヤーはありませんでしたが、ベッドは快適で満足でした
Very impressed, top notch service, and room was super comfortable. Also San Diego is nice had a fun travel
Old hotel, but very quiet and pleasant. Very well located and at a great price. Excellent to rest after a busy day. The room had very powerful air conditioning. Although the bathrooms are shared, no one bothered me while I was there. I will definitely stay there again when I return to San Diego.
Simple, clean, older hostel with pleasant staff on premises. Great location close to Petco Park and right in the Gaslight District.
Compared to other places in the area, this hotel is very cheap. The sheets and bathroom were clean which is the most important thing for me, and the lady at reception was lovely and helpful. BUT the smell of the whole place is awful. It smells of ingrained dirt with a hint of fa***s. I couldn’t figure out what it was .. whether there is an issue with the drains or if it’s just really old carpets etc. it hasn’t been refurbished in a terribly long time so it could be that.
Great location. Old, three-story building with no elevator. There is a communal laundry room with iron and ironing board. The room is basically clean but a slight musty smell. My private bathroom is clean with a small bar of soap and towels. There is a flat-screen TV, air-conditioning and heating. Didn't hear excessive noise during my stay. Can store your luggage after check-out, but you have to ask. Two elderly couples treated the guests warmly. Always available to assist and answer qu...
ALERT! ALERT! - THIS HOTEL HAS BED BUGS (my doctor confirmed), - I was bitten 30+ times first night and it ruined by stay and journey home to UK.
Great location. Furnitures are old, but rooms are clean.
Staff was rude. They would not let my friend in even to help me load stuff to the car. The hotel smelled when I entered. Security was mediocre. Someone could have easily broken into my room since they only have key locks. The public restroom is barely a door covering the toilet in the middle of the hallway. Would not come here again
The Pacifica Hotel offers among the least expensive private rooms in the most dynamic part of San Diego, but it's kinda tacky.
