Me encantó el alojamiento. El personal es muy amable y atento. Las actividades como la clase de pupusas hacen fácil conocer personas. Está muy cerca del centro y las instalaciones son bonitas.
Such a sweet place to stay:)
I had such a wonderful stay here. The area is so homey and I felt so comfortable. The beds are sturdy and private and the balcony is so peaceful at night. But the staff is what made it great. Genuine and kind people! Thank you Fern especially and Madeline for the pupusa class !!
Super netten Personal, was direkt hilft und super englisch spricht. Bietet tolle Aktivitäten an vor allem die Pupusas Class ist sehr empfehlenswert. Zimmer etwas kleiner, aber trotzdem überwiegt der charm des Hostels und es ist nicht so groß, was sehr angenehm ist
Really liked this hostel, great vibe and people and staff. Popusa class is a must and they have great recs for the rest of Santa Ana
Super nettes Personal und gute saubere Küche. Lage top.
Amazing stay. The rooms are definitely a bit warm but expected per the location. Definitely do the pupusa class non negotiable
Nice vibe, very friendly and helpful staff, would stay again. it's a very familiar place and they offer tours and a lot of information on activities in santa ana. just bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper, as buses pass by on the street next to the dorms.
The kindest and most helpful staff but every once in a while the do just burst into the dorm without knocking. The dorm I was in was so small and the bathroom had no sink or mirror so I had to go out of the dorm to use the bathroom which was a bit annoying and you can’t even fit any backpacks in the actual dorm you have to store them outside. Pupusa making class was a 10/10 as well as the volcano and 7 waterfalls hike I booked through them. Very social and easy to meet people.
I had such a lovely time here. Such a lovely space and what makes it most is the staff. They were all so friendly and a big shout out to Oscar, he is a legend and was super helpful. The tours from the hostel are fairly priced and are good value. The puposa class was a lot of fun and I highly recommend doing it! I almost ate my way to the record but alas it wasn’t to be :( (27 nommed)
Stay here if you’re in Santa Ana. The vibes were so social but not party. They have great tours and the staff are so lovely. The place is super cute too and each bed has its own fan which was a pleasant surprise.
Amazing hostel! Pros: very friendly and helpful staff, daily tours offered for a good price (7 waterfalls, Santa Ana volcano, papusa cooking class), comfortable beds with curtains, personal fans in the room, good kitchen facilities. Very social vibe in the hostel and nice spaces to hang out in. It felt like they really cared about the guests and the quality of the hostel. Cons: the stove in my kitchen wasn’t working so had to walk to the other. Would highly recommend!
DO NOT RECOMMEND this hostel is an organisational mess. Few days before my original check out date I asked to extend my stay, receptionist said that it’s possible and they have free beds - i paid and everything was “organised”. On the day of my original check out, staff member asked me if my extended period should start today, after my positive answer, they said that they put me in the system for different dates and in the end there’s no place for me for the extended period. They attitud...
Mouldy food in fridge, two houses one of which staff rarely entered, only 1 shower and 1 toilet in each hostel (which was freezing cold). The pupusa class was very good and the staff running it were great
The Casa Coco staff are amazing, thank you Ferr and Oscar! The hostel is more like a house and it’s so cosy. Great sofas and rugs and cute bathrooms! They have an outside balcony with sofas as well as a backyard with tables. You can do art there for free because they have supplies, and they have yoga mats free to use. They offer great tours (thank you Rigo!) This hostel has been such a pleasure to stay at!
Needs more washrooms but overall great
Fantastic hostel, great atmosphere, comfy beds and curtain/flush against the wall top bunks is always nice! free coffee in the morning was great, only thing is one toilet on other side of the road bit, obvs more toilets other side but bit of a faff. Overall great stay tho!
Staff is really kind and there is a good, young atmosphere. Not overly social but still quite social. Respectful atmosphere. Beautiful place.
Very nice sociable place. Easily the best in Santa Ana!
Great hostel to stay at, definitely make time for the Pupusa class!
