Khajuraho Glory

+ This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in during my three month trip in India. The host allowed me to check in two hours before my arrival, gave me travel tips, informed me that I can contact him 24/7. The room was spotless, and the cleaning standards are amazing. I thouroughly enjoyed my stay here and if I return to Khajuraho, I will stay here again for sure.

- Forte pression de l'hôte pour organiser nos journées, ce dont nous n'avions pas besoin, sa politesse semblait "intéressée", l'hôte nous a vanté le thali cuisiné maison mais au diner nous il fait un livrer un thali de l'extérieur (prétextera après coup que ce soir là sa mère était ailleurs), il faut bien vérifier la facture avant de partir car l'hôte applique des taxes sur toutes les prestations, y compris par exemple la réservation des billets d'entrée des temples,

+ Las vistas de la habitación. Es un lugar donde se respira verdadera paz. Vuelves de ahí revitalizada y rejuvenecida. La atención es buenísima y el personal es muy atento contigo. Recomiendo que prueben su comida, reserven con el guía que tienen para ver lo tradicional de zona. Son muy profesionales. Estoy muy satisfecha de alojarme ahí. Ojalá pueda volver.

- The location of the homestay is convenient in terms of distance from the biggest attraction of this town - the western group of temples. You might however be surprised on how to get there by foot. First barrier you will notice is a distance between the object and the main road you’d need to walk through mud. No tuk tuk will come here to pick you up. The owner offers a ride by car or a taxi, but if you plan to travel cheap/ in reasonable cost - it will definitely lift the bottom line. The room is clean, surprisingly no issues with warm water thanks to gas heater in each room - on plus. We haven’t noticed however a balcony we booked a room with. The food offered in the homestay is good quality - tastes home made. What concerned us is the size of portions in comparison to price. These where the most expensive and the smallest breakfasts and lunches we had during this trip in India. For your consideration if you choose convenience over the cost. We did is once and after that we dined in the city. Be careful accepting proposals on many additional services offered by the owner - all makes your stay more convenient but are 3-4 times more expensive than on the street. Instead of paying 400 for the tuk tuk taking you between two temples’ complexes you will pay 1k, etc. Generally we were comfy when staying there, except we felt like losing control over our trip as the owner was creating a constant pressure on considering his additional services, taking decisions about next points of our plan. If you like to be guided and taken care of, and you don’t mind paying for that extra - this place is for you. Otherwise I suggest to communicate your expectations clearly at the check-in. We felt a bit overwhelmed what changed our overall impression about this point of our trip and we wouldn’t be happy to repeat it in the same way.

- Cost transparency for any additional services, like drop off or pickup to the temples. Customers should ask for included services like free massage.

+ Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Rahulhjr hat uns alles ausführlich gezeigt und sich viel Zeit genommen – stellenweise fast ein wenig zu viel, aber immer mit großer Herzlichkeit. Das Abendessen, das seine Mutter für uns gekocht hat, war unglaublich lecker und ein echtes Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Zudem liegt die Unterkunft sehr gut und der Tempel ist bequem fußläufig erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Staying at the Khajuraho Glory Homestay provides an authentic experience of domestic life in Khajuraho. It provides a personal touch other hotels cannot provide, namely: a homely environment, a laid-back ambience, and beautiful food cooked with love. The hosts were accommodating, providing a customised service suitable to our needs. Yet, Khajuraho Glory Homestay also provides amenities comparable to those of a luxury hotel: cozy, modern, spacious and comfortable rooms, a high quality comfortable bed, air conditioning, the best shower, same day laundry services, airport pick up and drop off. My experience at Khajuraho Glory Homestay has left an indelible imprint on me. I will always remember the warm aura and the homely ambience it provided me.

+ Rooms were clean and we were hosted very well by the host Rahul. A recurring highlight in guest reviews is the friendliness and attentiveness of the hosts. Many guests mention that the owner (or host) went well beyond just giving a room — helping organise excursions, local transport, even temple-tours.

+ Das Homestay hat uns echt überrascht. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, das Badezimmer ebenso. Die Familie war äußerst freundlich und bemüht. Hr. Rahul hatte stets ein offenes Ohr für unsere Anliegen und erfüllte sämtliche Wünsche prompt. Das Abendessen, welches die Mutter von Hr. Rahul kochte, schmeckte uns wunderbar. Der Vater begleitete uns zu Fuß in das Dorf, damit wir eine Adresse fanden. Der Ausflug zu den Raneh Wasserfällen war großartig. Die Landschaft, der Canyon, die Wasserfälle waren echt beeindruckend. Die Ayurveda- Anwendungen im dazugehörenden Ayurvedazentrum "Kairali Ayurgram Khajuraho" waren herrlich entspannend. Ein absolut gelungener Aufenthalt!

La chambre était parfaite avec accès directe sur la terrasse où l'on peut prendre le petit déjeuner et les repas la propriétaire fait les repas et le mari sert et leur fils très serviable.Il nous a réservé nos billets de train lui même merci beaucoup pour vos services 😍😍Endroit calme la nuit.Je recommande plus plus 😊😊

+ The home stay is run by a very warm and welcoming family. The house is lovely and my room was big, comfortable and very clean. The food was delicious. This generous family looked after me and made sure my stay in Khajuraho was perfect.
