The River House

+ Es war ein phantastischer ,leider zu kurzer Aufenthalt, perfekt für alle die zwischen quito und dem Pazifik unterwegs sind.wir haben uns gefühlt wie Könige in einem kleinen öko-paradies .Frank ist ein 100% iger Gastgeber.die Anlage ist ein Traum, alles absolut perfekt ,bis ins kleinste Detail ( Steckdosen & Licht am Bett). Das Essen war mega köstlich ,es gab den Kaffee von der Bohne-geröstet-gemahlen-genießen.wir haben frische kakao Produkte kennengelernt,die absolut frisch hergestellt waren -ein Traum. Allein die Geräusche in der Nacht....-.es gab viele Vögel und Kolibri zu beobachten.

+ Convenient location between Quito and the beach. We traveled with a 3yo child and loved how family friendly this location was. Great spot to swim in the river. Good restaurants nearby. In house meals were excellent, best ceviche I had in Ecuador. Host and owner is enthusiastic and welcoming.

+ Das River House und sein Gastgeber Frank war eine luxuriöse Ergänzung zu der umgebenen fantastischen Natur. Beim Empfang mit einem Glas Rotwein wurden wir immer nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. In der rustikalen gut temperierten Lodge konnten man interessante Gespräche führen, der selbst gewählten Musik lauschen, die sehr gut zubereitete Speisen genießen und nicht zuletzt den selbst gerösteten und gemahlenen Kaffee probieren. Der Fluss Caoni lud zum Schwimmen in einer natürlichen Umgebung ohne das Anwesen zu verlassen ein. Aus unserem kleinem Chalet mit Balkon und einer Hängematte hatten wir eine wunderschöne Sicht in den Dschungel. Das River House können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

+ La atención personalizada y cálida. Los desayunos son espectaculares y la comida en general. Me gustaron las cabañas, los jardines y el orden.

- En la cabaña con dos habitaciones debería haber otro baño. Uno no es suficiente. Hay suficiente espacio para contar con dos baños.

+ Lugar muy acogedor, excelente servicio por parte de Frank y sus colaboradores, muy buena comida. A las personas que les guste la aventura recomendamos preguntar por el tour a la cascada el Caimán, hermoso para conectar con la naturaleza

- Taz vez que haya piscina o yacuzzi

+ no está tan lejos de la carretera, por lo que el trayecto no es largo el sitio es tranquilo, privado, lujoso, tiene todo el confort que buscas Frank tiene un trato especial para todos sus huéspedes, con experiencias únicas, y la comida deliciosa

+ Desde el momento de la reserva ya te sientes bien atendida, puedes hacer tus requerimientos directamente con el dueño. Las habitaciones tipo cabaña hacen que el lugar te traslade a lo más natural, sin olvidar lo hermoso del Río que queda a unos pasos; la comida es preparada a fuego lento y es deliciosa, y ni qué decir del café recién tostado y molido. En la noche, puedes disfrutar de juegos de mesa, una conversación tranquila y un vino con snacks por cortesía del dueño.

- El camino aún conserva la naturaleza del lugar, por lo que llegar en autos bajos no es lo ideal.

+ En general nos gustó absolutamente todo, desde la comunicación previo a ir al alojamiento, la bienvenida muy personal que Frank tiene para con sus huéspedes, te recibe cálidamente con una copa de vino o un buen café recién molido y tostado por el mismo, la instalación está diseñada con materiales naturales pero sin perder elegancia y confort. No tienes necesidad de salir del lugar porque tienes conexión directo al río caoni que es hermoso para pasar momentos de relajación y desconexión total. La comida es excelente y las cabañas muy cómodas con un balcón con hamaca para estar relajado con excelente vista natural

+ Frank est un hote extrêmement prévenant qui nous a accueilli dans sa propriété en ami. La chambre était belle et confortable, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel et surtout nous avons eu le privilège de vivre une véritable expérience éducative et sensorielle a la découverte de la torréfaction du café et du cacao. De belles dégustations ! Je recommande sans hésiter !

+ La amabilidad y calidez de la recepción de parte de Frank(propietario). La charla cordial con otros huéspedes y con el administrador del desarrollo. La cena, de muy buena calidad y abundante. Desayuno natural y de muy buena calidad. El río que circunda a la propiedad

Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite liquor and join Frank for heartfelt conversations over aged wine or smooth whisky. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect and reconnect—with nature, and with the stories that bring us together.

+ La hospitalidad del host es espectacular, total familiaridad, amabilidad abosluta, no hay forma de que no termines siendo amigo de Frank. El lugar es paradisiaco, el rio se disfruta como si fuese la parte mas bella de la Amazonia pero cerca de la capital. Sensacional, simplemente expectacular todo.

+ Beautiful place in the middle of the nature, yet close to the highway. Perfect stay to make a pause before going to the coast or for a weekend!

+ This home-turned-lodge is beautifully furnished, and lodge was very comfortable (there is air conditioning, something I have not seen in the other lodges). The host, Frank, is generous and very keen on getting to know guests and sharing his experiences. I would recommend this place specifically for those who have a relaxed itinerary as we were afforded the opportunity to have wine on the house at night, and make and sample chocolate from cacao (and more).

+ Everything about the River House was wonderful. It is a pristine and tranquil bit of paradise, little hills and valleys of trees, and flowering shrubs and plants. Birdsong is a chorus at dawn, and continues during the day. The river winds its way through the tropical forest at the bottom of the property. You can walk, swim, birdwatch or relax in the hammock on the porch of your cabin. The cabins are large and well-appointed with everything you need to be comfortable, including a desk, a sofa and plenty of space for your things. The air conditioning and shower keep you cool when you need a break from the temperature outside. Meals were delicious, made from fresh local ingredients, and catered to each person's requests and needs. They were exquisitely presented, and always accompanied by a pitcher of fresh fruit juice. The warmth and personal attention from Frank, the proprietor, are delightful, and he went beyond all expectations to make my stay at the River House enjoyable and memorable.

- The only thing that could have been better for me would have been if I could have swum in the river more. Because of past injuries I wasn't able to get in and out of the water easily, and I was very grateful the Frank made this possible for me. I didn't want to trouble him by asking him to accompany me every single day, although I expect that he would have if I'd asked!

+ Fantastisch mooi domein met prachtige bloemen en planten, en veel vogels. Mooi om te wandelen en dicht bij de rivier. Dit hotel onderscheidt zich van anderen door de gepersonizeerde service. Frank ontvangt je in zijn huis met een glas wijn, en deelt zijn passie voor lekker eten, cacao, kunst en muziek. De bungalows zijn zeer luxueus ingericht, met zalige terrassen, zetels en hangmatten. Zoek je een plek waar je tot rust kan komen en totaal verwend wordt, dan is dit hotel de perfecte keuze.

- Je eet aan een tafel samen met de andere gasten, wat resulteert in prachtige ontmoetingen en boeiende gesprekken. Indien je hier niet voor open staat, is het belangrijk om dit te melden aan de gastheer.

+ O lugar tem uma atmosfera animada, cheio de detalhes em madeira e cultura. Mas o anfitrião, Frank, faz a enorme diferença. O que mais gostei é que ele fala inglês fluente e me impressionou com seu conhecimento de português. E o que posso dizer sobre a natureza? O local está situado nas montanhas e oferece vistas espetaculares, com pássaros cantando o dia todo. Todo o cardápio é cuidadosamente detalhado e com porções generosas. Um lugar para onde eu voltaria eternamente.
