Corfu Backpackers Beach Hostel

What an amazing place ! Had a wonderful time facing the turquoise sea. I've been travelling for two months in Europe and it's the best place I've been to. As a girl I felt very safe being picked up at the airport when I arrived at a late time. Although it was in February I met a lot of backpackers and we went walking and kayaking. Great meals too, homemade and affordable. I think I'm going to come back in the summer to see this place full of people !

Went with a friend in October. Staff was quite rude, had an attitude and didn’t seem happy with anything. They ignored us or exposed their bad internal communication regarding e.g. prices of shuttles. The place is convenient tho and has a beautiful view.

This is the pink palace too… so dirty. I went slightly out of season and it was empty and so so dirty. The 5 other people on the property and I made the best of it

Location was amazing, right next to the beach. There were no locks on ANY of the bathrooms (including the ones in the room and the ones at reception). There was NO internet in the room. There were stains on the bed. The staff, minus one girl, seemed quite dismissive. Another issue was that we were told through email that they had a shuttle bus arranged for a 5:30am pickup. The shuttle bus then didn’t arrive until 2.5 hours later. Overall quite dookie.

The location was really nice, right close to the beach so that makes it worth the money. However there was no wifi in the rooms, no kitchen or any common space to eat your own food, and they didn’t have any drinking water - so every time you want water you have to buy it from the bar.

Amazing stay and Magda.and her crew wre absolutely awesome.

Pros: I think overall it is worth the money due to its access to the beach (which includes umbrellas and chairs) as anywhere else on Corfu you'd have to pay HELLA for those things. My bed was also very comfortable. Some staff members (shoutout Richie) are extremely nice and helpful. The reception was also generally pretty dedicated to being helpful. There was also always a lot going on (kayaking, paddle boarding, painting, dancing) ... nice to have these options and activity going on around ...

very big hostel and was also not the one i ended up staying at. just know if you book with this advertiser you will actually be booking with the pink palace hostel. the shower was honestly terrible but everything else was fine. the room had ac and the view is amazing. it’s far from the old town and the area is not walkable. the breakfast was good. was a cool vibe overall

Zimmer leider sehr veraltet, unsauber und teilweise nicht voll funktionsfähig. Drei Steckdosen in einem 5er-Zimmer sind zu wenig. Personal mitunter nicht zuvorkommend. Man wirkt sich leider sehr "abgearbeitet".

Tolles Hostel, es ist riesig und es gibt viele Gebäude verteilt, wo Leute untergebracht sind. Toll ist auch der eigene Strandabschnitt. Es werden jeden Tag viele Aktivitäten angeboten, neben teureren Touren auch ne gratis Wanderung, die ich sehr empfehlen kann. Mein Zimmer war voll ok, im Bad fehlen leider Haken oder Ablageflächen und der Duschkopf sprühte in alle Richtungen. Aber klare Empfehlung, gerade für Solo-Traveller!

probably the worst hostel i’ve stayed in. weird vibes, not clean, bed bugs, the list goes on. we booked the corfu beach backpackers but it is actually the same place as the pink palace hostel, which they do not tell you.

What EVER you do do NOT stay at this place, I’m not one to leave reviews, but out of all the countries I’ve been to and all the places I stayed in, this was the absolute WORST …a lot of shady shit going on all the way from bed bugs… and paying the ppl hush money to keep quiet…and lies and deception about the location, and theirs tours have so much false advertising the corfu backpackers and pink palace are THE SAME. I booked corfu backpackers since the pink palace had so many bad rev...

Loved my time here! Met some great people and the staff were all incredibly friendly, close to the beach and great transfers available. Bathrooms in 3 bed dorm rooms were a bit disappointing, the shower wasn't the best. People gathering at the pool after the party at about 3am and being loud :( I would stay here again & recommend to friends

Loved this hostel, we got upgraded from a 10 bed dorm to a double bed ensuite which was lovely. Eveythjng in this hostel was pink, they have daily tours to different places. It is very far from the city but they have buses in and shuttles from the hostel for 10e. It’s slightly on the expensive side for transport so I recommend getting your own transport. The breakfast was fabulous, you get a large variety from eggs to dolmades. There’s always something going on in the evenings.

Stayed a week here and had the best time and met the best people! Staff are lovely and especially the security and volunteers. Common areas such as toilets near the beach bar area could be a lot cleaner than they are, and there is no kitchen facilities. I never had the dinner but its a buffet style with a bottle of water and a glass of wine and breakfast is a buffet too which was good. Party season has started now and there's fun events on every night so now is the best time to go. Such a good a...

Not really a backpackers hostel as there is no kitchen and you have to pay a lot for everything. Great activities and some of the staff are lovely though

it was my first time in Corfu and the hostel it was great.

Not worth the money at all. The bathrooms were filthy, so many bugs, and overall cleaned very poorly. The air conditioning leaked on our floor and cleaning service would walk in while we were sleeping. Also the location is next to the beach but 30 minutes from the city. Also don’t come if you have suitcases, the rooms are far from the reception with multiple stairs and a steel incline. Overall I would never come back and is not worth the money.

BED BUGS !!!! || DO NOT BOOK !!!! pink palace & backpackers beach hostel are the same place—both awful. staff was rude, gave us the wrong room far from the beach. no a/c, beds were damp, hotter inside than out. bathroom door didn’t close or lock, 2 outlets for 5 people. we slept outside on sun chairs—paid €70 for that. went inside eventually, then woke up covered in bed bug bites. staff didn’t care, no refund, no apology. filthy, disorganized, scammy. worst hostel ever. avoid at all co...
