Butterfly Space Lodge

Really enjoyed my stay. A really nice part of the lake for the free snorkeling and paddleboarding! Social bar area but places to chill to. Beds were comfy.

Awesome place with good vibes.

The place is run down, poorly maintained and urgently requires some renovation. Rooms are low standard, but economic. I stayed at a potentially nice hut directly on the lake side with water vaves just beneath the verandah. But one third of window panes were broken. It is not particularly clean. The lodge has a system of compost toilets (no water flush, just sawdust and ash) which can be really smelly. The restaurant offers good and reasonably priced food, there is a nice barvto hang out. Awsome place, such a great vibe and place to meet other travellers. Its walking distance to town centre. Amazing hot showers outdoors with views! And really comfortable beds. We will be back soon!

One of the best places I have stayed during my travels. A little nature reserve at the most beautiful part of Lake Malawi. Great staff, delicious food and an amazing vibe. Beds are comfortable and showers are hot.
