Shkodra Hostel & Day Tours

The hostel was very good and the staff was great. We felt very safe in the hostel. We would have felt better in the city if we had a man traveling with us.

Some of the best staff I’ve ever encountered during my travels. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. The tours offered are amazing and the staff goes above and beyond in order to give their guests the best experience possible. I can’t recommend this hostel enough.

One of my most favourite hostels I’ve ever been to out of over 80+ over 6 different continents. The building is extremely clean at all times, very cool layout especially the outdoor patio area by the cafe / bar. The rooms are so nice, everything you could need and ask for plus more. Every single staff member from reception to housekeeping, is beyond accommodating, super friendly and makes the hostel just such a great atmosphere. I am looking so forward to coming back and joining the tours. 10/...

Super schönes und sauberes Hostel im Zentrum. Der Besitzer und die Volunteers sind super chillig und die Day Trips sind es sowas von wert. Es ist einfach, Leute kennenzulernen. Die Betten haben Vorhänge und es gibt ein Café in der Common Area draußen. Kann es nur empfehlen wenn ihr in Shkodra seid und Bock auf neue Menschen, Party und Natur habt :)

I LOVEEEEEEEEE SHKODRA HOSTEL ITS THE BEST HOSTEL IN THE WORLD LIKE THE BEST OMG ARMANDO ITS THE GOAT Robert Erjon Emily and ferni they are okay but nothing like ARMANDO. Would be a fool to stay anywhere else - continuous extensions!!!!!

Really lovely place. The hostel was very nice and clean as well. Armando and Robert were great. The day tours can add up in price but the Shala River and Komani lake tour is well worth it. I’d definitely recommend a stay here!

one of the best hostels ive stayed at was really debating this or wanderers but it was perfect- really big , really nice facilities, theres so many showers and bathrooms theres a private shower too, a giant makeup room, and comfy beds with curtains. convenient restaurant right there and amazing day trips with great leaders. staff was so great shout out to armando.

This was an incredible hostel!! The staff are so welcoming and the main building social area outside was an absolute highlight.

I really liked my stay at Shkodra hostel, the staff were all super nice and the hostel was really good in general. The tours they offer are also nice and fun, so I would recommend signing up for one!

This hostel is the best hostel ever. The staff are SO funny and friendly, it’s really beautiful inside, comfy beds. If you stay here you are guaranteed the trip of a lifetime. Day tours-10/10, food-10/10, overall-10/10. I cannot recommend this place enough. Lule mali x

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. Bathrooms? So clean and modern. Bedrooms? Super tidy, spacious and comfortable. Courtyard? The BEST hangout spot and place to chill out with a coffee and some food from the cafe. Big props to Emily who works so hard and makes the tastiest food. Big love to Erjon, Robert, Armando, Sophia, Shehab, Fernanda & everyone else who really makes the stay worth it and are all so wonderful 🩷

I loved my time at this hostel!! It was my first solo trip so I didn’t know what to expect going into it, but everyone here made me feel so welcome. The day trip to the Albanian Alps was incredible, thank you to Rob and Armando for making it so fun. I definitely want to stay here again in future. Looking forward to more of Emily’s cookies too. Thank you guys :)

Absolute goat of hostels. Feels like I’ve made a new family in Skhodra. I’m just saying Armando really deserves a cookie for all the hard work he puts in volunteering at the hostel, same with Ferni. Make sure you order a white girl latte from Emily they’re delicious. The activities the hostel offers are great - the dinner on the sunset boat cruise is probably the best feast I’ve ever had. Great hostel! It’s very central (5min walk from the bus station and a lovely 30min bike ride to the lake). Apart from the showers being a bit small and inconvenient, the facilities are great with spacious dorms, lockers, comfy beds, kitchen and a lovely garden where everyone socialises. The staff is lovely. I loved my stay there and highly recommend doing the Highland waterfall tour, it’s a gorgeous day out.

This place is fantastic! The bedrooms and communal facilities are modern and clean. The staff are also extremely helpful.

Incredible property with rain shower in a full bathroom, HUGE common room decorated like with local cultural architecture and comfy beds. Sparkling clean building and spaces with function well considered especially for the girlies such as a vanity room. I absolutely loved my stay here! I met some great travelers and was supported by friendly staff. Only thing is in the low season some activities may be harder to guarantee due to low demand and weather considerations.

We stayed in the new building of the hostel and had a great experience, everything was perfect! We also did the Alps day tour, which we really enjoyed. The staff was super friendly, funny and always helpful. Thank you! :)

BEST HOSTEL EVER!! As four girls traveling alone, we instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. Rob and Erjon are UNMATCHED HOSTS along with the whole staff. They gave us the best hostel experience we could ever want, from amazing recommendations to great laughs, their hospitality made the trip unforgettable. The day trips were perfectly organized and affordable. We highly recommend this hostel to everyone. We had the best trip to Albania and it wouldn’t be the same if we stayed anywhere else. �...

Great location right in the centre, equipped kitchen and bathroom, and beautiful place. Super friendly and helpful staff! I was there off season but the place looks made to bring people together.
