Lovely peaceful vibe. Staff are great.
perfect for what we needed it for.
We liked our stay in Krakow. The acommadiotion was in an old house. Our first impression was bad. But the room was nice with an kitchen but no cooking posibilty. The equiment in the room was nice and modern. The bathroom was a bit old and the bathroom sink was very small. My husband who is tall couldn´t use it. The reception ist a bit hidden and not in the same buildung as the rooms. The adress you can find in the web is the one of the reception, the rooms are round the corner. Breakfast is...
The apartment I had was a block away from the check in area, but no problem. Private and quiet. Not social at all as the unit is in an apartment building, so no social space, but I didn’t mind the solitude after staying in other hostels for months while backpacking. Spacious unit and very comfortable beds. Across the road from the tram and bus lines.
Excellent Location - Staff is awesome
Świetny apartament w kamienicy. Obsługa hotelowa była bardzo pomocna i uprzejma. Polecam Gorąco! :))
a very comfortable hostel from which you can perfectly reach every activity in krakow. the jewish quarter in which it is located is perfect for young people looking to experience the nightlife and stuff. but inside the hostel, there's not much going on, there's no common room, no bar and it's not possible to breakfast there. but if you can waive on meeting other travellers, this one's good for you!
Good location but that’s about it. The bed was squeaky every time I moved, the walls are thin. The location is on a junction which means it is very loud outside but it is so warm in the rooms you have to have the windows open. The room was generally dusty and the sheets had a very unpleasant chemical smell. The shower was mouldy and the cutlery provided was dirty. There is also tons of small bugs in the rooms, you cannot leave clothes or bags on the floor as the bugs will go in them
Conveniently located in the middle of everything. Nice room and great value.
airbnb apartment style property. great value for a value private residence. not good for socialising with other hostelworld or traveller guests. however it was perfect and exactly what we were after and somewhat impressed by it!
Ok but didn’t feel like a hostel. My room was badly dated and needed a deep clean and maintenance. Lack of air con wasn’t great and 80PLN washing/drying laundry is extortionate - self service laundry 5 mins away is 25% of the price. Staff were generally helpful. Good location but overall disappointing - no idea what the 70’s branding is about.
For the price, this is an absolutely fantastic spot. It doesn’t have frills but it’s in a great location, good space, great shower, secure. Location is 12/10 being in the Kazimierz district with tons of cool places near by. Fridge was great to have. Lots of closet space. Like others say, more of a hotel than a hostel. Not gonna meet anyone at a common area (there isn’t one) My one minigripe: the microwave didn’t have a converter to plug it in. I may have also not known how to get it wor...
Despite the great location (attractive neighborhood) the hostel is below what you’d expect. The rooms were disastrous to say the least. Smelly (!!!!!!!) and very unclean, loud and dark. The electric kettles were a nightmare, dirty and moldy. Due to the mold, one bathroom smelled so horrible that we couldn’t use it and stay in the room. After check out you have to pay 35zl to store your luggage. We spent 500€ for 4 nights - outrageous for what you get.
If you want your own room this is a good option. My room was nice and reasonably comfortable. Big double bed and en suite with a nice size shower. The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke but after leaving the window open for a bit it wasn't as bad. Not much of a kitchen but there is somewhere to microwave food upstairs and a fridge, and there was a kettle in the room.

The location was very convenient for any walks into the old town, Wawel castle, and more. However, note that there is a bar across the street where people tend to stand outside and talk late at night. This is not the fault of Hostel 70s, of course, but good to know if you have noise sensitivity for sleeping, especially since it got very warm in the room and we had to keep the windows open. We were sad that there isn't a common space to socialize, but it's a great choice for couples and families!
This isn't a hostel - it's a collection of rooms spread across 2 buildings. The room was run down, and right on a busy road with a noisy courtyard at the back. I wouldn't recommend staying here. We had read reviews that said check in was a nightmare, so we asked ahead of time if it would be open when we arrived (10pm). Despite us being told it would be, the door was locked when we arrived. No one answered the phone number but after about 20mins someone appeared and let us in.
Good hostel. Neat and clean. Good staff. I was happy with the hostel. Will stay again if I visit Krakow.
Overall good! Can’t say anything negative about the hostel except for a very bad smell in the room where the reception is located. Only there though, Suggestion: I would make the insides more appealing
