Double B House

Even though staff is nice, would not recommend this hostel to anyone. Blanket smelled absolutely horrible and bathroom as well. It’s cheap but you definitely find out why.

Decent location on the island, close to everything inc the beach & shops. Good amount of space and the ac worked well, came with a fridge too. Only downsides were that there wasn’t much storage and the shower was positioned right above the toilet so was a bit hard to use. Otherwise it was a good property overall!. Would stay again!

youre booking this place for a bed. and the beds are atleast nice. bathrooms stink. no common area. no safe place to leave luggage. super loud outside hostel. overall would stay again but only due to price.

Estuve 2 noches! La primera en cuarto privado y Excelente! Pero la segunda noche estuve en dormitorio compartido y mal! Las fotos no son como en realidad es. El dormitorio compartido es pequeño, las camas juntas como una cárcel, sin lockers! Y cuidado las fotos que ves enfrente de la playa y con piscina es falso! Es un hostal pequeño sin áreas compartidas!

Very noisy, no door that separates the area with the room and the streets, AC smelled funky, moldy and disgusting 🤢 and its was directed to the bed and impossible to move it … so you cant escaped… The place overall smells, and i would not come back

The hostel was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a private room, everything was great there too, and the price was excellent.

Friendly staff and good value for money

Extremely loud beware the music from a shop outside plays until all hours of the night and starts up again very early in the morning , we did get clean towels and the beds were comfy

From the moment i entered in room ,the room was stinky .it was too bad..they don’t have good amenities .

I stayed only one night and it was unfortunately the loudest and uncomfortable night I’ve ever had. The staff is nice, but there’s no real common area, the room opens onto a very noisy street, and it felt like sleeping outside with music until 3 AM and constant noise afterwards. The room was extremely basic, the window faced the corridor and the sheets were stained. For a similar price, I’ve stayed in hostels that were much cleaner and quieter. We booked to stay at the Double B Hostel via Hostelworld on Ko Phi Phi however on arrival we were ushered to a different hostel run by the same company. The hostel was called ‘Safe House’ we were not given any advance notice of the change of accommodation the reason given was that Double B was under renovation. The staff were so lovely! The room we stayed in was comfortable and good for the price, and perfect location. Reliable AC, mini fridge, and shower. Would defo recommend if you’re traveling on a budget.

Eine sehr einfache Unterkunft mit Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank. Von der Lage ist es eigentlich gut gelegen. Man ist schnell am Strand oder am Hafen. Der View Point ist auch nicht weit entfernt. Ein 7 11 ist direkt nebenan. Gegenüber im Shop läuft bis 3 Uhr nachts Musik. Jedoch ist die gesamte Insel nachts laut.

Decent place for a private room if you want a chill night but still be close to the action. Not much atmosphere to it but good AC, bed and nice staff.

Das Hostel hat eine super Lage – in weniger als 10 Minuten ist man am Pier oder an anderen wichtigen Orten auf Koh Phi Phi. Ein Supermarkt direkt nebenan ist ebenfalls praktisch. Allerdings war unser Aufenthalt nicht besonders angenehm. Unser Zimmer lag direkt am Eingang, und die Musik war bis mindestens 2 Uhr nachts extrem laut, was das Schlafen fast unmöglich machte. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig, und die Betten waren sehr unbequem. Für Partygänger wäre das Hostel perfekt.
