Worst hostel I’ve stayed in so far. The room had no window and smelled strongly of feces. The odor hit immediately when entering. To be fair, the passport requirement is clearly stated when booking. I only asked if there might be an alternative and why, but the response was rude and dismissive, which matches other reviews. It may be cheap, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The low price doesn’t make up for the lack of cleanliness and comfort. I honestly needed a night in a clean hotel...
Its a good option if your looking for a quieter place but still close enough to main area where the beach clubs are and is also close to a lot of good food options. The rooms are nice, they are basic but that is what is expected with the low price you are paying. The staff let me know about the events that were happening at the other 2 blanco hostels so I still had many options on ways to spend my days and nights. Definitely would stay again!!
Der Schlafsaal war dreckig, viele Ameisen auf dem Boden und im Bett und ich habe eine Ratte gesehen. Nachts war es laut und man konnte kaum schlafen. Morgens hat das Wasser nicht funktioniert, das man weder auf die Toilette noch duschen gehen konnte. Außerdem muss man sein Reisepass abgeben was für mich ein no Go ist.
Great location. Not a social hostel at all but the other blanco hostels are so you can just go there and hang out and come back to this hostel to sleep.
Forced us to hand over passports as deposit instead of cash - which is illegal Plumbing was shut off one night - toilets and showers weren't working Two showers were faulty - only produced a tiny spray Curtains on the bed are useless. Might as well not have them. My bed was right next to the bathroom so I had the light from the bathroom streaming into my eyes Lights come on at 11 so you can't sleep in Multiple people got sick because the air conditioning was too cold at night
Had a great stay perfect location staff were very helpful
I didn't like it that I had to give my passport. Usually, I never want to give it away and I wouldn't do it again
worst hostel ever, no windows in the dorm, aircon turns off at 11am, it is SO loud, door didn’t close properly, no airflow anywhere in the hostel so it’s just so hot and humid especially in the bathrooms (always wet, dirty toilets)

Ideal location, you get what you pay for. Only stayed for 2 nights which was perfect for us
Not happy with my experience. I originally booked on hostel world but thankfully I arrived early to see the property. It was a little dingy but that didn’t bother me too much. But when I re-read the terms and conditions and saw I needed to turn over my passport to them for the duration of my stay, I told them I was going to stay somewhere else. But now, a full week later. They have still charged me for the room (more than the reservation fee) would not recommend
Great hostel, right by the beach and the bars, really nice workers and reps made our stay really fun to with everything they have to offer.
Was brilliant, no complaints
The hostel is very clean and has a great location. I booked 2 nights here as a solo traveler, and a huge thank you to Nam for her kindness. I got very sick on my first day, and seeing how unwell I was, she didn’t hesitate to go to the pharmacy to get me medication. I had to spend one night in the hospital, and Nam checked in on me by email to make sure everything was okay. Thank you again, Nam.
The lockers were very small, cannot keep more than a small bagpack in it, and that too was broken. the bathrooms had hair in the basin, broken geyser regulator, same soap for handwash and as bodywash, no shampoo. The location is very good. No place for any activities inside the hostel,nor anything happens. So you need to go out for everything.
Handtücher haben Flecken, Bettwäsche zum Teil auch, Betten sind sehr unbequem, es ist sehr laut die ganze Nacht. Zimmer sind klein und haben lediglich kleine Schließfächer und Betten
Th Landlady was very sweet! loved the lication, 1 min walkin distance to 7-11 and 5min to all the busy area, yet comfy and fairly relaxing.
Muy buena ubicación aunque el personal algo brusco. El espacio es muy pequeño así que diría que más caro de lo que realmente ofrece.
