Roots Hostel

+ Effectivement l’hôtel porte bien son nom, c’est roots mais le séjour a été parfait Le lieu est plein de charme, la vue est absolument incroyable, la chambre rudimentaire mais confortable

+ El ambiente, la amabilidad del dueño, las increíbles vistas al volcán, lo curioso y aventurero del lugar. Pudimos cocinar y estuvimos muy bien. Muy práctico para parar camino a Bocas del Toro, aunque, para quien tenga tiempo, hay por explorar por la zona.

- Realmente es muy rústico, no para todos los gustos. Tampoco para todas las edades. A veces se escuchaba algún camión.

+ Rustikale Unterkunft mit tollen Blick auf den Vulkan. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wir haben auf dem Weg von David nach Bocas del Toro im Roots Hostel 2 Nächte geschlafen. Unterkunft ist wie in der Anzeige beschrieben, sehr Basic, wir mochten es. Unser Zimmer hatte einen eigenen Balkon. Schöne Wasserfälle in der Nähe wo man hinwandern kann.

+ Ein besonderes Erlebnis! Mir hat der Aufenthalt gefallen. Ich war drei Nächte vor Ort. David ist ein sehr lieber und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und man kann zu Fuß an abgelegene Orte gelangen, wo es nur Natur und dich/euch gibt. Spannende verwinkelte Baumhausähnliche Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf den Vulkan. Die Bergluft tut gut, nachts kann es aber echt frisch werden. Hatte genug eingepackt und habe nicht gefroren (Schlafsack, Merino-Kombi für nachts).

- Nur ein paar kleine Hinweise: Das Zimmerchen war etwas dunkel für meinen persönlichen Geschmack. Toilettchen habe ich selbst nochmal geputzt, bin da aber auch pingelig bei ‚installierten Toiletten’. Diese hässlichen (in manchen Ländern verbotenen) Trucks sind laut (ca. 7 Uhr bis ca. 22.30/23 Uhr, 1-2 pro Stunde). Eventuell herausfordernd mit Kleinkindern oder für Senioren, da es viele Treppen gibt.

- Opted for a private room, I was the first one there around 4 pm...a young couple arrived with bicycle and were put in my room despite other bunkroom being empty & no one expected at 6 pm... $40 a night with very cold water and no sink in the bathroom was a bit expensive compared to other places around Lots of musquitos in room this time of year so bring your net Second night I was the only guest, visited hostel uphill for yoga

+ Es un lugar super ameno para una escapada a la naturelaza, donde el contacto con la flora y fauna local esta a la orden del día, con pajaros cantando desde temprano y vistas al volcan, que al igual que a nosotros, de seguro te sacaran mas de un suspiro de emoción. El anfitrión es lo maximo, muy amable y educado con una vibra que nos hizo entender que el tambien es parte del atractivo en este hospedaje. 110/100.

- Nada que mejorar al momento, se nota que el lugar esta en constante crecimiento y esperamos poder visitarlo proximamente para descubrir las novedades que presente. Espero ver muchas cosas positivas de este lugar.

+ Logement rustique très confortable. David est une personne extrêmement attentionné et sympathique. Il y a une vue superbe sur les montagnes et le volcan Barú . Logement idéale pour une halte sur la route pour aller à bocas je recommande sans hésitation. Nous étions avec 2 enfants ils ont adoré .

+ La ubicación y el clima.

- Teníamos unos vecinos que no paraban de fumar y todo ese humo entraba a la habitación. Fue horrible

+ The Roots Casa Rústica is an absolute dream. It is the perfect place to relax in the calm and peaceful mountainous area between the two oceans. You’ll have a brilliant view of the volcano and wonderful waterfalls close by. David is the nicest host you can imagine, he can give you many valuable insights and tips for hikes nearby or your further travels. He did everything to make us feel comfortable starting with sharing fruits right when we arrived. I can highly recommend to stay there.

+ La ubicación es perfecta para hacer una parada entre la zona de boquete y bocas del toro, el entorno es increíble, el hostal está ubicado en el corazón de la montaña despertar en ese entorno es un auténtico lujo. Eso sí, es un lugar de lo más humilde, si vas buscando lujos o comodidades no es el lugar. El propietario de increíblemente amable con nosotros y dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo.

+ David is a lovely person and helps wherever he can with advice or recommendations. The hostel is truly rustic, but it has everything you need, and its charm with the stunning view is priceless.

+ Una experiencia muy agradable, la atención de David excelente y un ambiente muy tranquilo para disfrutar de la naturaleza de su alrededor. A very pleasant experience, David's service was excellent and it was a very peaceful environment to enjoy the surrounding nature.

+ David est fort sympathique et repond a toutes vos demande, il n’y a pas de mensonge a la casa rustica, digne de la cabane des robinson, c’est une experience insolite pour une etape dans les montagnes !

- C’est rustique, alors oui on entends les camions, mais en meme temps c’est une cabane avec une super vue !
