The location is amazing, you'll be walking-distance from almost everything there is to visit. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was simple and extremely clean. In fact this was the cleanest hostal I've stayed at, the shared bathroom was spotless at all times. I was surprised to see they had cleaning service and made our beds every day, amazing. Definitely worth the value for money, will book again for my next stay in Madrid

So so clean, staff is so kind and helpful and above of all that it is in the very center of the city although it is not noisy and we had a very good sleep.

Excelente ubicación para conocer el centro de Madrid. A solo media calle de Gran Vía, cerca a todos los puntos turísticos importantes del centro de la ciudad.

We enjoyed our stay at San Martin, it was very central, and the staff were friendly and efficient, and booked us a taxi for the airport at the end of our stay. The room we had was excellent value for money, including a shower and a hair dryer was provided on request. The property was secure and we were provided with a safe in the room. The room was very clean, however I felt the net curtains needed a clean. It would also have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities.
