Wild Wild West Backpackers' Hostel

Filthy and noisy at night (1 - 3 am) by staff and his girlfriend on weekdays. Lot of cigarette and pot smoking here. Cute but dirty pets.

Very good place This spot stays clean friendly people come and go . Also very good for long term stay highly recommend for new people to Dallas .

This is a true hidden gem. Wonderful people. Great place. Kenneth is the best. And absolutely love Sunny and Tiger

Great budget hostel. Check-in was easy even with my delayed flight. Big common area, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, good AC, clean bathrooms, and parking. Aldi, Kroger, and bus/train stations are all nearby. Staff is very friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

I enjoyed my stay here immensely. This is a rustic themed hostel which I feel would be fabulous if there was actually any backpackers around to enjoy it. I stayed a whole week here and got to know the residents of whom I felt most to be quite permanent or relatively long term . They were all nice people if you bothered to get to know them. It has a very lay back atmosphere,was relatively clean. The kitchen was very clean. There was both public transport , cheap restaurants and supermarkets close

I will start off by saying that the little doggie in pervious reviews was found to be clean , flea free and very adorable. 10/10 could pet it all day ! The manager of the hostel was very helpful and kind , all of the doors had locks including the dorm rooms . All the sheets and such were freshly laundered and the kitchen was clean upon my arrival, the place had been swept and mopped multiple times throughout the day I was here and I was there for about 18 or so hours . It was a dirty environment when I first walked in. Dishes in the sink and kitchen was filthy. The bathrooms also were pretty run down. Half of the people staying were what I assumed homeless in some capacity or in between living situations and other half were traveling. I met some amazing people and we had a great time but I probably would not stay here again. Three people complained of bedbugs in the same bunk so check your beds before you sleep or stay. Also a dog stays inside. Just Be aware.

I really appreciate the stay, and the flexibility of the host is amazing. I was able to check in late. Had a great night's rest. The air conditioning and temperature in this place is so nice considering it is so hot outside right now. So comfortable. Lots of stores and food nearby and I was able to check out the backyard and it is beautiful. If I am in Dallas I will stay again here because the guys here are so friendly, nice, and helpful.

My bunk was infested with bedbugs. I met some amazing people and overall had a good time but I feel I need to warn others… I was the only person in the room effected (except maybe Marie who was sleeping underneath me) but if you do decide to stay - CHECK YOUR BUNK FOR BUGS!!!

Nice place, decent location. Owner and staff are pretty nice.

This is more like a paid shelter for homeless and really low income people. Not clean and it had a weird smell. There's no info about a dog in place and also saw a black cat inside upon arrival. Bathrooms were a joke and hand soap was so diluted that wouldn't even foam. The laundry room was a mess with towels everywhere. No luggage storage as stated and lockers were tiny. It was the only in Dallas area. I've stayed at others around the country and this is by far the worst! Sorry not worthy

I had a great stay. Everyone was nice and friendly. I would comeback again when I’m in the area
