Pili Beach Agmanic Resort

+ Beautiful quiet beach. Great food and friendly owners on site. Always happy to sit and fill you in on the history of the place. Scuba diving available on site and a beautiful reef right out front for snorkeling. Plus a great pool. Would come back in a heartbeat.

+ Personnel très aimable et prévenant. Le resort est situé au bord d'une magnifique et très longue plage propre avec du beau sable. Emplacement idéal pour un superbe et vaste snorkeling. Magnifiques coucher de soleil. Le resort est très agréable et très bien entretenu. Nous avons eu un bungalow mitoyen au bord de la piscine. Le logement est très bien pensé, bien insonorisé avec de nombreuses prises, un éclairage parfait, literie confortable, belle douche,... tous était parfait. Tout à été pensé pour la satisfaction de la clientèle. Bon restaurant.

- Manque notoire de fruits. Carte limitée qui reste la même tout au long du séjour.

+ Wunderschöner, naturbelassener Strand, perfekte Lage direkt am Meer. Anlage harmonisch und liebevoll in die Natur integriert. Großzügig geschnittenes, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer. Sehr gute Kücheneinrichtung im Zimmer (komplette Küche, großer Kühlschrank, Wasserspender). Atemberaubende Naturerlebnisse beim Schnorcheln, klares Meerwasser.

- Extrem laute, veraltete Klimaanlage – erholsamer Schlaf kaum möglich. Private Müllverbrennungsstelle des Resorts direkt vor der Terrasse, täglicher Rauch- und Gestank. Burger im Restaurant völlig trocken, klein und überteuert (Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr schlecht). Katastrophaler Restaurantservice: lange Wartezeiten, fehlende Kommunikation, Bedienung kannte die Speisekarte nicht. Servierte Speisen oft kalt, geschmacklos oder ungenießbar (z.B. eiskalter Kartoffelbrei, trockene Fleischgerichte). Extrem scharfe Chili Prawns, ungenießbar trotz Erfahrung mit scharfem Essen. Hygienemängel führten zu massiven gesundheitlichen Problemen (Bauchschmerzen, Durchfall). Keine alternativen Essensmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung, völlige Abhängigkeit vom mangelhaften Restaurantangebot.

+ Gute Lage nahe dem Hafen Santa Fe. Der Strand ist sehr schön, der schönste den ich in tablas gesehen habe. Das Hotel hat einen Steg ins Meer, sodass man bequem auch bei Ebbe schwimmen kann.

- Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant ist nicht besonders gut. Das Zimmer roch muffig nach Schimmel, konnte jedoch keinen Schimmel sehen. Es war nicht besonders sauber.

+ This was a great resort, right on the beach. Rooms were clean, grounds were well maintained, sunbeds everywhere and the staff was great, amazing even! We loved everything. Sunsets every day, beach life, island life and mainly relaxing. Boss lady is really positive and a tough woman. Girl power all the way! Special shout-out to grandpa, who gave up his rocking chair for us. Just so we could hang out on the swings by the bar. He had a positive presence and still actively helped where he could. We were almost the only ones there and got a lot of positive attention... So we may be a bit biased ;-) But there was this white guy hanging around, apparently management. He was rude to the staff, didn't help out, selective in which guest he talks to and had no contribution on the positive vibe all around. But we really had a great stay and would love to come back again. Thank you all! Oh some side notes for fellow travellers: If you ask the frontdesk (Francis) he can arrange snorkel/boat tour, by local captains. Or you can rent scooters to go around the Island. Tablas Island is beautiful! There is a local boat to Tablas Island from Caticlan, but also from Carabao Island. With the ferry you end up in Santa Fe. Tablas also has a Jetty in Odiongon.

+ Clean and lots of space

- Very remote.. nothing around. It needs some TLC

+ The location is nice, in theory. It's private and should be very quiet. Didn't spend much time on thr beach due to the typhoon but it seems like it would be nice and private when the sun's shining.

- I didn't get a single good night's sleep. Just noise after noise, four nights/mornings in a row. Woken up at 7am by loud, relentless whirring noises lasting for three hours. Music blaring next door at 8am. The bar turns insanely loud speakers on around 9am, and it's literally louder in the bedroom than the dining area. Staff members putting their speaker on our patio while cleaning the pool and blasting full volume it right by the door. Nearby properties thumping music out until 2am+ on Friday night. Screaming kids at the pool early in the morning. On that note, I shouldn't have even been in a room by the pool. I paid for the best room so I could have a workspace for my laptop and to not be right by the pool. But they put us there anyway, in an inferior, cheaper rate room. Absolutely no idea why. Bizarre.

+ Fantastic place - beach and surroundings, amazing snorkeling, big swimming pool, friendly staff, possible pay by credit card, wifi, biliard, diving,

- No hot water in shower, bad water connection in pipes in the bathroom,

+ Pili Beach exceeded every expectations. Tranquil, secluded, beautiful, great service, greater people. I made friends here and everyone was generous and genuine. The Filipino hospitality is overwhelming. It was a perfect combination of beautiful setting and better people.

+ Ein herrliches Fleckchen Erde mit himmlischer Ruhe. Es gibt eine "Seebrücke", die zwar abenteuerlich aussieht, aber funktioniert und einen direkt bei den bunten Fischen abliefert. Optisch ist der Hauptaufenthaltsbereich um die Bar herum sehr gelungen gestaltet

+ The staff was outgoing and professional. The food and service was great. My room was beautiful, clean and well equipped. I will be back.
