HI Viana do Castelo - Pousada de Juventude

I could not make it, because my flight was cancelled unfortunately. I tried calling multiple times to let them know that my flight was cancelled, but absolutely no one didn't pick up the phone or called back. Also there is one lady who I was talking to before booking my reservation, about asking to have a bottom bed, because I have serious problem with my lower back since years. But she kept telling me how she couldn't do that, because it could change something, despite beds being already free.

Muy buen lugar para alojarse, instalaciones amplias, desayuno completo incluido, personal amable. Ubicación enfrente del agua, volvería sin dudas.

I tried repeatedly to cancel this booking directly as I was not able to through Hostelworld. The auto reply from Hostelworld said this should be possible. I provided a month’s norice that my trip plan had changed and I needed to cancel. They still charged me. Very poor customer service.

Great hostel. Friendly staff.

Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab Handtücher und auch eine dicke Decke für kältere Nächte. Das Bad war den Gng runter und sauber. Insgesamt könnten die Betten (quietschen beim Umdrehen) und die Duschen (teilweise kaputt oder wenig Wasser) erneuert werden. Die Straße war laut, aber nach einer langen Wandertour schläft man schnell ein. Die Atmosphäre war nett und man hat sich sicher gefühlt. Frauen und Männer hatten hier unterschiedliche Flure.

Wish there were more fridges in the kitchen and more available laundry machines. Staff was incredible and place was so clean.

Nice hostel, location is a bit weird but still close enough. Very clean and very nice. Yummy free breakfast. Wasn't a lot of community though.

Modern and clean hostel with friendly staff and nice free breakfast. However, there were no lockers and there only was a bedside lamp to light the entire dorm. Not a festive hostel as most of the guests are on a pilgrimage and go to bed before 9 p.m. !

Perfect place for a stopover from Portugal-Spain. Not a place to really be social but good breakfast and lovely staff!

Nice to stay night, location good. But like in hotel no contact fellow travelers. Common area was emoty, maybe bacause hostel bar was closed.

Uma das melhores pousadas em que ja estive. Luiz muito gentil e solicito, sanou-me inumeras dividas sobre o distrito. Não gostei: Da cama que fazia muito barulho, e era desconfortável ao mexer para nao acordar o colega da acomodação; As portas do armário fazia um barulho estridente, tanto que peguei um WD-40 para lubrificar as dobradiças das portas; Por fim, se nao entregaram bilhetes do pequeno almoco imaginei que era 'liberado" dentro do horário, o que gerou um confusão e olhares de re...

La réceptionniste était très gentille, la chambre aucun soucis, juste un peu "particulier" si l'on arrive au soir notamment, qu'il n'y ait pas une grande lumière à l'intérieur, seulement des lampes. Atmosphère un peu maussade en revanche dans la chambre et les couloirs. Concernant le rapport qualité-prix, un peu cher tout de même pour la qualité proposée.
