CouCou Homestead II

Very nice hotel in central area of ho chi minh. It's in a quiet street but also you are nearby the party area. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful when we had questions. Also the Coffee shop ground floor is nice to have. We had a room with balkony, which was very sweet through the lights installed. Would recommend!

Had a nice stay in CouCou homestead II. The room looks exactly like the pictures. The bed and pillow was soft. The balcony was small, but enough for two persons to sit on it. It is probably not the best place if you want to socialize, since it has no common room, but would definitely recommend otherwise.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Gegend. Die walking street war zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Gerne wieder!

A well priced private room in HCMC. It’s very simple, but comfortable. We were within walking distance of all the markets, bars and restaurants you could want to visit. The alley is off of the main road, so it was noticeably quieter than other hostels would be, which made sleeping a lot easier than expected when we saw the busy roads. Overall, great experience with CouCou II 🙂

Great stay! Comfortable bed, and very spacious private room. It seemed centrally located, though we were only in HCMC for a day. We arrived past the hours of check in but the staff were kind enough to come let us in!

Not a party hostel. Great for someone wanting a quiet yet brilliantly located base for exploring the crazy busy city of Ho Chi Minh. Really quiet at night. Free drinking water. Comfortable bed, good AC and very good value. Would return to Coucou.

Fantastisch accomodatie om te verblijven. Schone, ruime kamers met een erg lekker liggend bed. De accomodatie ligt in een autovrij straatje waardoor het niet gehorig is ondanks de centrale ligging in District 1. Bij mijn vertrek luktte het niet wegens de avondspits om een taxi te vinden en er tijdgenoot ontstond voor het halen van mijn vlucht. De fantastische medewerker die aan het werk was wist hiervoor een optie en dankzij zijn hulp kon ik mijn vlucht halen. Al om al 100% aan te raden.

Fantastisch hostel! Super schoon en nieuw. Zit op een handige locatie in de stad. Heel aardig en behulpzaam personeel.

Hatte tatsächlich ein bisschen bedenken bevor ich ankam. Aber ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sogar verlängert. Es ist nicht das aller neuste und hochwertigste Hotelzimmer aber für den Preis mehr als in Ordnung. Ich hatte ein super gemütliches Bett und eine tolle ruhige Lage. Mit Grab muss man etwas aufpassen. Wurde zweimal bei den anderen Coucou Homesteads raus geschmissen.

Netflix on the TV, the comfiest bed ever !!! Nice room! Hard to get find and had to wait for someone to drive over to check us in but other than that great!

Very good but Wifi didn’t always work

sehr sehr sauber. ruhiges quartier. nettes personal, ich musste leider einen tag länger auf die wäsche warten, aber ich würde sofort wieder da buchen. die betten sind super bequem, sehr angenehme bettwäsche, sehr schön eingerichtet und ich fühlte mich sehr sehr wohl da 😍

Good place to stay however note there is no reception. You can only check in at CouCou Homestead 1 which is a 5 min walk from Homestead 2. However we arrived in Ho Chi Minh at 2am, so it was a problem as the reception at homestead 1 wasn’t manned 24/7 either. You get breakfast in the form of instant noodles, eggs and sachet coffee which you make in the kitchen upstairs. We got this on the first night but these supplies were not restocked the other days we were there.

Big,spacious and clean room. Great location in District 1, close enough to everything to walk. Two locked doors into the building to self very safe. Staff were really helpful when needed. Only downside was the shower as it was quite weak. Perfect if you just want a room in the city.

I loved my time at CouCou Homestead II. I initially booked the Mango room for 7 days but ended up staying for 3 weeks. The room looked exactly like in the pictures. There was plenty of daylight & it felt spacious for 1person. I got lots of privacy in the room: the neighborhood was quiet & you barely hear other ppl in the house. It's very clean as the lovely cleaning lady Tâm comes in every day. I got to change towels frequently. Big bonus: free water refill via a filter in the kitchen!
