The Riverhouse

Ce lieu est situé a environ 10 minutes a pieds de la gare Centrale. La rue est très passante et bruyante surtout le soir, je vous conseille de prendre de boule quies si vous avez le sommeil léger. Vous trouverez une cuisine a votre disposition (bien equipée) et il est possible d'y cuisiner jusqu'à 20h30. Le ménage est fait dans les espaces communs et les douches/sanitaires toute la journée ce qui rend le lieu vraiment propre. Il n'y a pas de personnel sur place mais ils sont réactifs...

Had such a lovely stay at The Riverhouse! The place felt really cozy and welcoming, and everything was super clean throughout. The location is great, easy to get around Cardiff and explore the city. Even though the washrooms are shared, they were always spotless and well-maintained, and we never had to wait for either the toilet or the shower, which was a huge plus. The contactless check-in was also really straightforward and made arrival super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

I inflated this review slightly, because I think the last two reviews left for this place are unfair. Giving a place 5 out of 10 because the fan doesn't work, or there wasn't a party atmosphere for you to get your rocks off, is a bit extreme. For a place with carpet, this place was very clean and not stuffy. Washrooms were clean. Very affordable place to get a private room, in a fantastic location. The bar beside this place is great too. The perfect place for a cheap and quick getaway to Cardiff

I really never leave negative reviews, but so many aspects of my experience here were genuinely terrible. EVERYTHING is automated. Not a single soul is there to greet/help/anything of the sort. No reception or security. When I needed customer service to help with a check in issue I was answered by an AI. Advertising this as some homey cozy BnB is absurd. I’ll also add my room was windowless and the provided fan didn’t work. The AI robot didn’t have a way to help. Don’t stay here.

Location great and it was clean, but it was like staying at a vending machine hostel. There was no humanity at all. I didn't speak with anyone working there on a 3 day stay and I tried! Everything was automated: entry & check-in, lights (blinding at night), bathroom faucets (don't stay on long enough), AI WhatsApp (didn't provide needed answers). Stayed in a private room with a girlfriend and we both thought this place was very nice! Clean rooms and bathrooms. Just a few streets over from the main roads. Staff was super helpful and immediate response when we called them. i loved it. riverhouse is a perfect place to stay in cardiff: it’s cozy, in the middle of the city but quiet and away from the noise, th kitchen is fully equipped. the bathrooms are devided into muliple tiny bathrooms, adding it he comfort and allowed to have stressfree bathroom time :) the tv had disney+, netflix, prime and me provided which we appriciated a lot after a long day - nice ✨ 10/10 this is THE place for a stay in cardiff 💜

Very affordable private rooms pretty central in Cardiff. Small continental breakfast for £4. Obviously not really a hostel, but that should be clear from the description anyways.

This is the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever been to! Great location (just a few minutes’ walk from the city center). The breakfast is generous, the place is easy to access. A brilliant place to stay in Cardiff! Such a homely feel and so well equipped with everything you would need. The breakfast was amazing value. It will definitely be the place I stay when I visit my daughter at university. Thank you to the hosts for a lovely stay!

Awesome setup and awesome stay, wonderful facilities and rooms

Felt like staying at a hotel + someone's well kept home. It's not to often you book a place like this and I'm shocked but I was so very much glad I stayed here. Amenities were perfect and I probably had the best sleep of my travels here. Can't wait to come back to Cardiff and specifically the riverhouse again!

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival! Talking doorbell greeted me! Super cuuute! The house was so clean and there were plenty of toilets and showers which was such a relief because I knew I wouldn’t have to be fighting for one in the morning. Wonderful clean kitchen with plenty of utensils, plates and bowls. The fridge had milk for the guests along with some cherry tomatoes haha all very clean and easy to use, they had labels and markers and clear instructions on how to store food. Loved it...
