Charming, great view of the lake and friendly staff. Thanks!
Pretty good value, a bit of a walk away from restaurants and shops etc. The hostel needs better ‘quiet hours’ - it was extremely loud from 3-5am.
Really good location by the lake in Queenstown, it’s about 10-15 min walking from the main town area but there’s also a bus stop outside. Room was comfortable but we had some sort of leak in the bathroom which caused a lot of moisture/smell in the dorm as it’s a carpet floor, I think the leak was dealt with but unfortunately the damp smell did linger as it’s harder to get rid of this if prolonged
Beautiful location on the waterfront. Parking is limited during the day, but found it easy to park in the evenings. The room were quite warm, to the point you needed to keep the window open all night, and hope that the buzzing noise wasn't too loud. Otherwise very comfortable beds. A little hard to go on hostel events when nobody showed up in reception, but hostel staff were always nice and polite. Easy check in system if you're late too. Would still recommend to friends to stay here :)
Sehr sauberes Hostel, besonders in der Küche wurde mehrmals täglich geputzt. Insgesamt ruhig, da Lage eher außerhalb von Queenstown, man ist aber fußläufig auch schnell da.
nice to stay a couple nights, calm atmosphere, 15 min walk to get anywhere
top locatie voor als je meer rust wilt!
It‘s not the vest to get to know some new people. Bit it‘s very nice located directly by the lake.
Good hostel well located in a city where it's very complex to park without playing a lot. good kitchen with a lot of tools. 10 min from center of town with a lot of bars and ppl to party.
It was okay. Not very social. Kinda like every other Haka House in NZ
We enjoyed our stay very much! The hostel was very clean and the kitchen area was very big. The beds were very comfy however our room didn't had much space for the luggage. The staff Was very kind and gäbe is helpful advice for activities.
excelente
Large, modern, and the staff keeps it very clean. Excellent kitchen, and a small deck with a couple tables to enjoy a meal over the lake. Only complaint was the price, 200 kiwis a night, three times what I paid for my most expensive prior hostel in New Zealand
awesome location, facilities were new and felt very comfortable
Fine hostel, clean and friendly staff. Liked the beds and curtains. But not social as they dont organize any events. I found it hard to make any friends there. Also, found it a bit weird to be put as the only girl with 2 other guys in a 3 person dorm. I paid more to get a room with less people for some quietness, and I of them kept me up snoring, so could have just slept in a bigger cheaper dorm.
Haka house hostels are great!!!
Great kitchen, bathroom and lots of privacy in the room. Parking is a pain, as have to find a place on the hostel side of the road for free parking, or pay hostel $15 for the night
As everywhere in Haka there isn't a great atmosphere. The bathrooms & kitchen were pretty nice. The beds are good as well. 🙂
Heel gezellig en zeer schoon Prima staf.
I would have preferred a personal welcome rather than check in online on arrival.
